C14 14

Oliver stared intently into the restaurant and his gaze hardened each time she laughed with them, her lips was grazed with a warm smile, one she would never show in front of him. She talked to them so easily and laughed with no tension in the air, same tension she showed him. His gaze hardened even more when he saw how one looked at her, he would strangle the fool.

A mischievous smirk cornered his lips as he walked briskly into the restaurant. He approached her and from behind leaned in giving a peck to her cheek.

She turned around and he watched as panic clouded her eyes.

"Hello, gorgeous," He went to sit on the empty seat beside her and put his arm across her shoulder, possessively.

"O-Oliver, what are you... how..."

"So, these are the bastards you lied to me for," he said turning his attention to the two men who sat across the table, both looking at him with a frown.

"Oliver please, they're just my colleagues,"

"Tell them to leave," he said not averting his eyes from them but when she kept silent, he turned to look at the girl beside him. She didn't have a choice so she apologetically turned to her friends.

"I'm really sorry but please can you guys leave?" She could see Oliver glaring at her.

He hated when she apologized for what she shouldn't.

"Samantha, is he the one?" One of the two men asked coming out of their shock of seeing this man. They knew their friend had a controlling man in her life but never would their thoughts have gone to it being this man, a well-known and wealthy business man, co-owner of the D.S company.

"Oh, I see, I've been talked about?" Oliver said leaning leisurely against his chair, his hand still hanging over her shoulder.

"Hope she spoke lovely things about me," he smiled, the word 'lovely' coming ironically out his mouth.

"We know what you've been doing to her," one of them said.

"You're an abusive and shady business man," The other reckoned.

"Hmm…" was the only thing he muttered as he listened.

"Do you think you'll still be a top tier when all this is revealed to public, you'll be ruined."

"Samantha, I give three seconds for them to leave."

Hearing this, she panicked.

"Guys, please just leave." She asked pleadingly. Oliver was giving her a choice and she knew not to delay.

"Why are you letting him do this to you Samantha, you can report him,"

Oliver had enough, he got up but likewise, Samantha also got up, placing herself in front of him as her hand went to curb both his arms.

"What's wrong with you both?" She asked them, her voice harsh.

"I said leave!" She ordered, her tone even harsher, she understood they might hate her for this but she also knew that what this psychopathic man could do to them wouldn't be something of good.

"Samantha, he abuses you,"

"Did I complain?" She asked turning around, her insides apologizing gravely but her expression remained harsh.

"Just leave,"

They both shook their heads looking amused at her foolishness, she didn't even want their help, no wonder he abused her, they thought but what they didn't know was, what this man could do was beyond what they could do to him.

Oliver smiled in satisfaction sitting himself down, his mind still remained at the memory of her warm touch on his arm when she tried to stop him. She touched him, even though he knew why, he was still pleased she did.

Samantha kept standing, staring blankly at the table as her eyes glistered with tears.

"I'm going home,"

Being with this man was the last thing she wanted so she chose to walk away but then again, that remained only a mere wish cause he grabbed her arm and dragged her back causing her to fall to his lap, his arm going around her as her face stayed inches from his.

"First you lie to me, then make me angry, don't try so hard to step on my toe Samantha, cause I'm certain you wouldn't like what I'd do," his voice, was low and threatening as he spoke. His eyes followed the tear which slid from her eyes, he inched his face closer and his soft lips kissed the tear off, his tongue tasting the saltiness of it as he trailed to her lip.

"Oliver please, there are people here," she said closing her eyes to have another tear stream down.

Ignoring her words, his lips brushed lightly against hers before his eyes averted from her to the people whose attention seemed to be focused on them, only about three tables were occupied but instantly at a thought, each and every one of them stood up and in sync, began walking out.

Samantha didn't even act or seem the least surprised at this, she already knew this man wasn't human, what he was, she didn't know, although knowing what he was wouldn't make her situation any better.

"They're gone now." He whispered then kissed her, he sucked against her lip so hard it was certain they would swell, the taste of salt touched his tongue and he stopped, he kissed both her eyes before using his thumb to clean her tears.

"I love it when you cry for me sweetheart." He smiled, a devilishly charming one.

"Only for me." He kissed her cheek before pulling away.

"Since we're at a restaurant, let's have dinner, shall we?" He let her go and she was quick to get away from his lap.

"What would you like to have?"

Poison, so I can feed it to you

He chuckled hearing her thoughts.

His baby wanted to kill him, how cute.

Well, that has always been her wish ever since he gained all rights to own her.

It was some time ago, when he had helped her family with a lot and lots of money to start up a business which was doing fairly well presently thanks to him.

All those acts and generosity of his wasn't originally for the purpose to aid her family, nothing concerned him with them, only her, but when he made his advances towards her, she refused and this displeased him leading him to other means.

He asked her family to pay off all the debts they owed which he knew was impossible to pay in their lifetime or even in their next.

Samantha was the only price he asked in exchange, it was either that or they spent their pathetic lives in prison, except Samantha of course, he wouldn't dare put his woman in those stinky bars.

Ever since then, her ever most wish was to have him dead.

He would give her everything she wanted and more but that, he wasn't sure he could grant that wish.

As though remembering something, he took his phone out and tapped.

"Do you remember him, sugar?" He asked addressing her with one of his many pet names, none of which she liked or wished to be addressed as.

At first, Samantha wanted to ignore him but when he showed her his phone, her eyes widened as fear crept in. The man he was showing her was Eric, how and why did he have his photo in his phone.

Did he..

NO! More fear crept into her.

"Please..." She whispered unknowingly.

"He was such a weakling, didn't even give on a fight," he said with a bored sigh taking his phone back.

"May his soul rest in peace, hell that is,"

Shock flashed through Samantha's eyes at his words as only one thought clouded her mind.

No!

"That's right baby girl, I killed him," he said hearing her thoughts

"Same thing I would've done to those two bastards if they hadn't left when they did,"

Her hand went over her mouth as she yelped. Her eyes wide in shock.

Eric was... Eric was dead.

She had seen him three days ago but now he was… he was dead.

Her breath hitched and soon she couldn't breathe properly which led her to hyperventilate, her head began to spin together with her surroundings and the last thing she saw was the panic which crossed Oliver's eyes before she lost consciousness.
