"I'm so excited when Luna ask me this task, I mean I precisely don't like that brat, but as long as you were my partner, everything would be ok"

"Killian, are you listening?"

Adriana muttered something, but I was preoccupied with the princess and her companion, and I kept wondering what they were up to now.

Serena had completely forgotten about what had occurred previously, but the way her bare body looked was still as plain as water to me. And my screwed head is covered in shrouds, obstructing the sober mind that was left on me as a result.

The door slammed shut in front of me as the Beta's son and princess entered the room.

Following that, I tilt my head to calm my nerves.

"Don't worry they would be ok inside" Adriana stated, and I recall the Alpha saying the same thing.

"From now on, you will remain within the princess's room, guarding her. However, take care not to intrude on her personal space; simply monitor her more closely."

I smirk; the Alpha authorizes me, that is, he grants me the right to stay inside regardless of Serena's feelings.

I immediately opened the door and stepped inside, only to discover that they were not in Serena's little living room.

Wait? They're in the bedroom, aren't they?

"stop it Alonzo I'm not interested in hearing it!"

I sprint and immediately open the bedroom door.

"What is happening here!"

My thunderous voice resounded throughout the room. I was unsure of how I might feel upon looking at them. I wanted to drag the guy and pulverize him to death, but I also wanted to punish this obnoxious princess, but I didn't want to hurt her. As I saw his smirking face, I grasped my blade tightly and pointed to the beta's son's neck. I couldn't contain my annoyance any longer. I swear, if he doesn't move, I could rip this fucking neck.

"Put Serena down or else this sword would be buried to your neck" I grit my teeth, attempting to refocus my small reasonable mind.

"Is this what lovers cuddle about that Zeta was unaware of?" Oh, I forgot you haven't met your mate at the age of twenty-seven. Hahaha"

That is my cue; he desired death. I move my blade and a small spot of blood pours from his neck, but Serena leaps on me and pushes me, knocking me to the ground in an instant. My hands were up, still clutching my sword fiercely. I'm not sure how she did it, but she was now on top of me while I lay on the ground.

Fuck! Fuck! Her naked body was the first thing that came to mind. My stiff fucking sword had stiffened even more as I saw her kiss the top of my jeans. What the fucking heck! Clear your own fucking head! That was the second thought that occurred to me.

I inhaled deeply to cleanse my mind. Yet after a split second of consideration, when I considered standing up, I came to a halt and was taken aback when I heard the Alpha's voice...

"What the hell is going on here!"

I gulped hard and let go of my sword. I instantly sat up and took Serena's hand in mine, gently lifting her body. Her cheeks were flushed, and her creamy complexion had developed a blue flush, which may have been caused by her blood.

My body is still startled by it. On the other hand, I can feel how red my face is, as I suppose that is where all of my blood rushes. Why? Perhaps out of humiliation.

"Could someone please explain what is going on?" Killian!"

The Alpha inquired once more, his voice more prominent yet he sounded more enraged.

Why am I convinced that I swallowed my tongue! I am unable to structure a single phrase; I must clarify and explain myself!

"Alpha the princess and my brother were behaving childishly. You know them; when they were together, they were as innocent as a child. The Princess succumbs to Killian just at the moment we enter the princess's bedroom."

Adriana was the one who explained, as no one attempted to communicate. Adriana once again rescues me from this humiliation.

"Serena is that true!"

Adriana hadn't received a single glance from the alpha, and he glanced at the brat as if it depended on her statement whether her father would let this pass or not.

Serena glared at me, then at Alonzo.

I also cast a peek at the man and noticed a small blood smudge on his neck.

I am doomed, yet I must serve him. I smirked, but upon looking at Serena again, I realized why she was glaring at me. She was enraged once more, but this time not because I saw her naked body accidentally, but because I injured her dear man.

I grit my teeth; why am I so desperate to see more blood? I imagined that the man I despised would now be referred to as her man. I'm certain I'm not jealous; after all, why would I be? I despise that brat in the slightest.

"Serena, I was talking to you!" The princess was startled.

"That was true father, I just invited Alonzo here so we could talk about our future yet you know us we always ended up fighting. Although I assure you that it was nothing serious about it father."

Talking about the future? Damn! Why does that word mess up my head?

I bow at the alpha and step out of the bedroom. I was beyond mad about that future thing. I will end up killing someone if I stay here.

"Killian, the zeta's had made a meeting. I want you to be there, all of the soldiers need to be there. Leave Serena to Adriana's protection." The alpha said and he looked at his daughter.

"Serena, I'm warning you. You are forbidden to step outside for the whole week."

"Father let me remind you that I had class tomorrow so literally I couldn't follow your order. Unless it was ok to miss my class?"

"You're such a brilliant young lady, ok let me change that. After school, you are not even allowed to visit the garden. You have to go straight to your room. This is my last warning"

That was what I heard before I closed the door and walked out.

With my troubled mind because of what transpired in Serena's room, I sat next my father. The number one Zeta of our pack Colton Zapanta he was the most rigorous zeta. Because he lacks compassion for the helpless, he would train the warriors in the most terrifying manner imaginable. Even I, his son, am subjected to his heinous training.

"Did you have any information on the rogue you met? Killian?"

With a blank expression on my face, I stared at my father. I made certain that he couldn't read a single expression on my face. I'm not sure why I was doing this for the man who shares my face, but I suppose I had to for the time being.
