C2 Bloody Hell..... He's My Mate?!

ASHLEY'S POV

"Please tell me it's lunch break" those were my first words to Isa

"You're in luck because it is" Thank the moon goddess

"Lead the way"

"A girl finally gets food around here" my demon, Aurum, chipped in

"How nice of you to bless me with your presence" I said sarcastically while rolling my eyes. She flipped me off

"That's debatable. Besides where were you all morning?"

"Trying to get some shut eye, so I won't be ripping out throats and we definitely have to go hunt. It's been so long since I last stretched my legs" I have to admit she's right but being a demon means everyone is scared of you and I really didn't want to deal with all of the screams. I got two really sensitive ears

"Are you even listening to me?" Isa jerked me back to reality

"Sorry, Aurum kept moaning about food" she rolled her eyes but didn't comment

"Blame it on me why don't you" I rolled my eyes

"I already did, dumb demon"

We walked through the double doors and headed straight to the line. There were a few people ahead of us.

"Hey Princess" some guy came up to us. I have to say he sure is good looking. Six feet tall, wife beater that showed off his muscled chest. Isa sure is a lucky demon.

"We might get one even better" Aurum butted in

"Blakey" They kissed. I faked a gag. Isa elbowed me and I grunted

"You didn't have to hit so hard" she only rolled her eyes

"Are you gonna introduce me to your friend or what" Blakey (it's all Isa not me) said

"Right, Ashley, this is my mate Blake, Blake, this is Ashley, my new friend" Isa introduced

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Isa wouldn't shut up about you" Isa turned a bright pink color

"Did she now?" he wiggled his brows at her, now she looked like a tomato

"Would you look at that, it's our turn to order" I laughed at her attempt to change the topic. They were selling pudding, strawberry cake, cookies, french fries and cheese burgers. I ordered a burger, cake, five cookies (don't test my love for those sugary goodness) and just to be healthy milk. We settled on an empty table with Blake, of course, and Isa just noticed my tray.

"How the hell are you not fat, I can't eat half of what's in that tray" Isa stared wide eyed at my tray with her mouth opened

"Close your mouth, you don't want to catch a fly" she closed it "and there's something called exercise, tho I rarely do exercise but who cares" I waved my hands while munching on a cookie.

"Aren't you supposed to eat the burger first. Food before dessert" Blake pipped in, with his eyebrows raised

"Dessert first, then food. I run on sugar" He chuckled while shaking his head. Aurum started chanting words that made no sense to me. She was on the edge about something and was giving me a headache.

"What is it"

"Maritus, maritus" What the hell is that supposed to mean. Then I smelled something so good. It smelled like a mixture of fresh grass, chocolate and coffee

"What the hell is a maritus" The smell was getting stronger, he's probably already sensed me and is coming this way

"What's wrong?" Isa asked

"What?'' I noticed the duo staring at me

"You were looking so serious, it scared me, what's wrong?" The smell was awfully close that I couldn't wait to see who it was but then it stopped, like it was never here, no trace of it, nothing at all

"Nothing" Isa gave me a weird look "I'm gonna go check something out, I'll be right back and stay away from my cookies" I dashed out of the cafeteria in search of the amazing smell again, with Isa yelling to hurry back for our next class

I took a whiff of the air, it was faint but still there. I followed it to the field and then it stopped, like the person didn't want to be found. After standing out there for a couple of minutes with no clue where the smell was, I decided to go back to the cafeteria

ALESSIO POV

"Hey Ales, you coming or what?" She's right there, inside the cafeteria, the one destined for me but I couldn't go meet her because of gym practice.

"I'll be right there" I yelled after my beta, Jace

"You could be just five minutes late, just to see her" my wolf, Rover, said

"I already missed math class, I can't miss anymore besides I need to get fit" he rolled his eyes

"You are an Alpha to be, you are already fit and with the excersice you do everyday, what more do you need. Just go in there NOW" he demanded annoyed

"True, but mom believes it's best to always be fit" he groaned, I might be an alpha but I'm very much still a mama's boy. I stared at the doors one more time before heading for the changing room. I knew she would come looking for me so I hid my scent and headed towards the field, I had to know who she was first

"Or just because you're scared of being rejected" Stupid wolf reading my thoughts

"Hey, I'm the best chance you've got to finding our mate so zip it" he gave me a wolfish grin

"Yeah whatever" I put up the block so I won't have him nagging at me

I headed for gym class when I got a whiff of that wonderful smell again. Vanilla and roses

She's having gym too. That thought alone made my face break into a smile. I saw the demons start piling in. Ugh, demons, I shuddered, just like witches, except some witches are nice, they not at all

The smell like was getting stronger now, then I saw a girl coming in while laughing along with another girl and guy

Who the hell is he and why would he be with someone that's mine. HOLD UP, Mine, where did that come from.

She started sniffing around for something thing, she was at the other side so she's definitely a demon, her eyes locked on me and that's when I heard Rover

She can't be my mate that's impossible, I saw her eyes widened and she's probably thinking the same thing.

Why is life a cruel joke?

I can't accept her, she's probably evil and shit and if I reject her, who knows what she might do to me

I just have to talk to her

"Aurum, there has got to be a mistake, he can't be the one, maybe our mates scent rubbed of him" This has to be a joke

"That would mean he hugged our mate and wolves don't exactly hug demons or even talk to them, and in conclusion that would mean our mate is another wolf which is still means we are mated to a wolf" she started matter-of-factly

I groaned, Moon Goddess, why would you do this?

The coaches came in and we started right away, yep you heard me right, coaches, a wolf and demon.

Once the bell rang, I grabbed Isa and bolted down the hall

"Woahh, easy there tiger" Isa said once were far from the gym

"What's up?"

"Well, you see....."

"We need to talk" I froze and I could see Isa getting angry which wasn't suprising since it's a freaking wolf here

"She has nothing, to say to you, now run along"

"On the contrary, I think she has" He stared at me, eyebrows raised

Why does he have to be so good looking, just when I was trying to find reasons to hate him even more than he's a wolf

Right now, all I know is I'm in for one bloody hell of a ride
