ASHLEY'S POV

"Spill" Isa gave me a pointed look

"Spill what?" I asked confused, and I really am confused because the moment I walked into the school, Isabella hauled me into an empty rest room and locked the DOOR.

"The wolf. Spill. You really didn't think I'll let this slide, did you?" She c****d her head to the side.

"I was hoping you would"

"Tough luck. What's his deal anyway?" She looked genuinely interested. I really didn't want to say anything but in the short time I have known Isabella she became everything I could wish for in a friend.

She's a kick a** who doesn't take shit from any one but is still very friendly and is a very big softie. She can be scary when she wants to and she knows just exactly how to get her way. Plus she always happens to know when I'm lying, I don't know if she has gift or something, I should probably ask her

"Ashley come on" Isa whined "Did he threaten you because if he did, Goddess help me, I will skin him alive. Alpha or not, I will kill him. Did he hurt you, he did didn't he? When I–"

"Isabella" I yelled, cutting her off "He did not threaten me neither did he hurt me"

"Then why did he want to talk to you then? Demons don't exactly mix with wolves so if he did, you don't have to lie to me, I–"

"He's my mate" I blurted out. Which is probably a bad idea because she froze, not blinking, not breathing, not moving, she basically turned to ice. The only movement I could hear was her heart beat.

Then she started laughing "This. Is. A. Pretty. Good. Joke. I. Almost. Bought. It." she said in between her laughs which angered Aurum

'I can't believe she thinks our mate is a joke' Aur growled

"You can't exactly blame her. It's absurd for a demon and a wolf to be mated. And our mate is definitely a joke, he cheated on us" I reasoned but she just kept growling

"Isa, I wasn't joking" she looked at me like I had grown two heads

"You're not? You have to be. Wolves hate demons. The Moon Goddess isn't this cruel" She cried out

"Yeah, well it turns out that the Moon Goddess has a weird sense of humor" I gave her a weak smile

"I'm so sorry. What are you going to do now?" Remember what I said about Isabel being a big softie, well here she is trying not to cry to my twisted fate

I couldn't help it. I hugged her. Memories of the pain yesterday came back to my mind and I couldn't help but cry which then triggered Isa's tears. So here we were, two demon teenagers balling their eyes out, on the floor, in the school's rest room.

We cried for who knows how long before we heard the bell signaling the second period.

"What are you going to do now?" Isa asked, getting up from the floor, me following suit

"I don't know. He didn't reject me but he still did not accept me" I splashed water on my face

"So what does that mean?" Isa asked applying make up to her face to cover up her puffy eyes.

"I don't know" I don't know what prompted me to say it but I did anyways "He cheated on me yesterday"

"Oh my God" She gasped "I don't know what that feels like but I was told it feels like hell. Oh, he is so going to get it. I'm going to bury him alive and then excort his soul all the way to hell. Poor you. You don't deserve any of this" She looked like she was about to start crying once again

"Hey. I'm fine now. I'm a big girl, I'm not going to let some wolf think he can control me. I'm going to make him regret it and then he will be begging me to come back to him" I smirked looking at my reflection in the mirror

"I like this plan but first, you have to use concealer, your eyes are still puffy" she smiled at me while I looked at her in horror

After losing to Isabel, I let her do her magic. We walked out and decided to skip second period also. And since Blake was free, we went to meet him at the bleachers

"Hey. Where were you girls? You didn't show up for first period." First period is English and it's one of the class we three, have together.

"Yeah, we were occupied" Isa said casually. I thought she was going to tell him but she gave me a look that said 'it's not my story to tell'. How did I get this lucky to meet someone like Isabella

Blake looked like he wanted to ask more but decided against it. "Don't you two have class?"

"And here we were, thinking you would be much happier to see us. I guess our presence isn't needed" I huffed, getting up from my seat

"We might as well take our glorious presence somewhere we are actually appreciated" Isa stood up to but Blake was quick to bring her back down

"I never said you being here was a bad thing" he pouted which made us burst out laughing.

"You should have seen your face"

"School sucks, why would we want to be in class?" I giggled

"Yeah yeah" He tried to kiss Isabel who turned her cheek to him so he ended up kissing her cheek. She looked at me and I smiled giving her the go. Blake pouted and tried again and this time she let him.

Blake turned to look at me "When were you going to tell us you were the Beta's daughter?"

I turned to face him "How did you....." Then it clicked "Greyson" I groaned

"You're the Beta's daughter?" Isa gaped "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because then people tend to be extremely fake to me but you two are an exception"

"Well we are honored to be in the presence of some so mighty" Isabel did a little courtesy

"The honor is mine" I tried to say in a British accent. We shared a look and bursted out laughing.

"You should have told us still"

"Yeah, I've learnt my lesson. Forgive me?" I gave her my puppy eyes

"Only if you take me on a ride in your Maserati"

"Deal"

"Glad you two are getting along well but just so you don't forget, the Blue moon is tonight" Blake said

"And?"

"I can't believe I forgot" Isabella cried out "We need dresses, shoes. Why didn't you remind me before now?"

"Okay, that's my cue to leave" I said getting out of my seat

"Nope, you are going to that bonfire with us, whether you want to or not" Isa grinned
