ASHLEY'S POV

The bell rang, signaling lunch.

"It's about time" I packed my things and headed to the hallway, where I was going to meet Isa. I turned round a corner and bumped into a hard wall.

Unfortunately it wasn't a wall, and from the tingles I felt, I could guess who it was without having to look but I did anyways and to add cherry up top of the cake, this part of the hallway was deserted.

"Watch where you're going demon" He growled at me. Oh, two can play this game. I growled right back, flashing my silver demon eyes at him.

"Watch how you talk to me wolf" I could feel the anger rolling of him in waves but I was just getting started.

"If you weren't so tiny, maybe I'd actually have seen you" That was a big fat lie. Blondie is actually taller than me by a lot that he is literally towering over me

"If I'm tiny what would you call yourself?" he said with a smirk

I groaned "Look, as much as I would love to continue our little banter, little alpha, I need food and you do too, you could be mistaken for a skeleton but point is I want to leave here or I'm sure I'm going to pluck your eyes out in the next five minutes" I said casually, noticing the way he cringed when I called him little alpha. Yay, the name stays

"Don't call me that" He used his Alpha voice on me. Why it didn't work I don't know, could have been because I'm his mate or because I'm not from his pack but who looks a gift horse in its mouth

'You know there is a possibility that vampires do, right before they kill it' Aurum chipped in

"Yeah of course, how could I forget that" Note the sarcasms

"Sorry, little Alpha but like I said before, I need food and you're in my way" I emphasized on the word little alpha and gave him a clearly fake smile. But I walked around him all the less

I hadn't gone far when he grabbed me by my arm pulling me back to him

I huffed "Need anything little Alpha?" I said in a very fake sweet voice

"Who was he?" I stared at him confused "Who?"

His jaw tightened "The guy you were with after school yesterday" I shouldn't have but I couldn't help myself

"You have to be more specific, I was with different guys yesterday" I feigned innocence.

He growled "No one touches what's mine"

"Sorry to break it to you little Alpha but the last time I checked, I. Wasn't. Yours" I clenched my jaw getting angry, who did he think he was screwing around and then trying to be all possessive

'He's hot when he gets possessive'

"Not now, Aur"

'Fine whatever' she rolled her eyes at me

"You are mine, just like I'm yours" His eyes were changing colors. Is it weird that I was finding this very funny?

"No I'm not and you also don't belong to me. You rejected me. You belong to who ever was unfortunate enough to have you screwing them with that very tiny d**k" I freed my hand and got out of the hallway as quickly as I could. I'm not that dense but I do know that insulting a guy's manhood is a big slap on their face and the powerful growl that followed suggested that I did a pretty good job.

I found Isa and Blake at her locker where they were laughing at something. Once I got closer, they noticed me.

"Where were you? You should have seen how these doggies all went tense just because their Alpha was mad" Blake said laughing while putting his hands around my neck pulling me closer to where he and Isa were. Guess the growl was heard by the whole school, it was kind of expected but what wasn't expected was Blake being thrown half way across the hallway by my so called mate

"Don't touch her" His eyes were glowing yellow and in werewolf series 101, that means their wolf is in control.

"What's your problem?" Blake said getting up, his eyes were changing colors. I looked at Isa for help but she was gone also. Her eyes were glowing red. They were going to have a blood bath if I didn't intervene

"Stop!!!" I screamed on top of my voice, making all three heads snap towards me

"You two, go cool down, leave wolfie with me" I hated using my Beta voice but I didn't want my friends to get hurt because of me

"Yes Beta" They left. I'll apologize to them later. And since we were the only ones in the hallway, I and blondie once had the whole hallway to ourselves.

I was suddenly dragged into a classroom and pressed against a wall "I don't like him touching you" Blondie's wolf was still in control. And so far, the only thing I have learnt about Alpha wolves is that they are short tempered

"Hey, he's not my mate. You are, well, you were. I feel nothing like that for him" He hugged me and started sniffing my neck while growling mine

"What's your name?" I asked

"Rover" I couldn't help but laugh. He looked at me funny, almost like as if he was looking at me with love and adoration but was also confused as to why I was laughing

"What's funny?" He looked very confused

"Your. Name. Is. Rover." I said between my laughs.

"Yes, what's wrong with it?"

"It kind of proves the point that you're a dog" I managed to stop laughing

'I like his name' Aurum purred

"Oh, so you think my name is funny" He said with a smirk. Coming dangerously close to me

"What are you doing?" I tried to look for a way out but he was blocking every exit

"Oh, nothing" Then suddenly he started tickling me and that is one of my greatest weakness. I fell to the ground laughing but he wasn't going to stop.

"Please..... I'm sorry..... I laughed at your name..... Please stop or I'm going to pee" Thankfully, he stopped.

"What's your name?" he asked helping me get up

"Ashley" I said dusting my jeans

"Ashley" I don't think my name has ever sounded so good until it came out of his mouth

"I like it" Rover grinned. I smiled

"Well I have to go back to my friend" He pouted "I don't like that guy you are always with"

"He's mated so I don't think you have much to worry about" he hugged me still sniffing my neck

"I still don't like him" His teeth scraped my marking spot and I couldn't help the moan that slipped out

He looked at me for a second and crashed his lips on me
