C6 Upheaval

He couldn't think of anything to prevent his mother from unleashing her wolf on The Reaper. He wasn't strong enough to hold back his mother's gruesomeness.

“Mother please, if you kill her, we'll all be doomed.” he tried pleading again, but it seemed she was lost in the trance and her full transformation was coming into view.

The air was taut and rose to a frenzy. Lethana had begun shape-shifting even before the full moon was out. Her muscles bulged and rippled beneath her skin as if trying to break free from their confines, and fur sprouted all over her body. With The Reaper's neck still firmly held in Zelahas grip, she shook and let The Reaper dangle from mid-air. Her transformation was a dreadful and awe-inspiring sight that terrified everyone present.

The Reaper still struggling to breathe and free herself from Lethana's mighty grip let her lower lip fall agape and stared in shock at Lethena's full form.

“Le...thana.“ The Reaper struggled to call the one person name that was on the fringe of ending her existence.

“Lethana if you don't let me go this very minute, I will unleash a dreadful curse on your entire empire.” her voice shuddered while trying to threaten the alpha female, and just like a trance, Lethana flung her to the wall, She crashed through the wall, leaving an unfixable hole that caused her to tumble to the ground with a loud thud. Bilel stood firmly rooted to the ground still mesmerized at the scene unfolding before him.

Having regained a sense of consciousness, he ran in the direction of where his mother's nearly brutalized victim lay with her arms hovering over her head.

“Are you alright,” Bilel asked with concern slated all over his face. “Reaper are you alright, C'mon get up," he continued. He reached out to her and tried pulling her from the ground but she wouldn't budge. Without warning, the Reaper rose to her feet with great agility and started for Lethena, glaring her teeth and staring wide-eyed at her. Bilel already shoved aside by her movement

“Lethanaaa." She yelled and the walls of the castle shook with force, with particles crumbling down from the walls, “I would have laid a curse on your entire empire but I'm not a reckless monster like you," her voice was heavy as she tried to catch her breath.

"You already have the vampires' wrath on your tail and you're yet a bear an heir that will take over from you when you're killed."

Lethana's smirk disappeared from her sto face. Her blood had turned cold as a result of the metamorphosis, but The Reaper had deducted it to degrees below abnormal.

"What did you say?" Lethana's voice came out frivolously, betraying her demeanor that was repressing slowly to hysteria, and her fear-frozen eyes stared blankly ahead.

"You have no heir Lethana, that was what I came to tell you before you exploded like a time bomb. I know we have our differences and I have not forgiven you for ostracizing me, I still nurture the child in my womb Lethana.” The Reaper dragged on her last sentence, emphasizing every word. Though still shaken, she concealed it and took time to savor the effect of her words on the alpha.

The air was thick with tension as if it held its breath at the revelation that had unraveled. Lethana's eyes widened in disbelief, her body froze, trapped in a vortex of conflicting emotions–shock, rage, and an overwhelming urge to slash into The Reaper's temple. Her clenched fists trembled with unbridled fury, while her eyes bore into the depths of the woman's soul, shredding away at her features with every menacing glare.

“I have three hundred daughters, Reaper and I can choose from any one of them to protect my lineage,” Lethana's aura had started to gain velocity.

“You have no lineage to protect!!” The Reaper shot back.

“I can always protect your lineage Mother, you as well as anybody else do not know my full capacity. I am more than a thousand daughters put together” Bilel rang out in disgust.

“Are you not aware of the laws that have guided and defended Zelehas for centuries, boy? You as well as your mother know that you can never defend her ancestry no matter the power you possess, you were a mistake to be birthed as her first child, and without a true heir, your mother's empire will granulate to dust" She hissed as she placed two fingers on her neck and caressed the bruises Lethana had inflicted on her there.

“The sooner I get rid of you, the better for you to keep your retarted prognoses to yourself." Her claws shot out and as she was ready to launch herself at the Reaper, Bilel waged himself in front of her.

“Mother I demand to know what she's talking about. I, a mistake?"

“Males are meant to be born in between females or not to be born at all. I thought you knew this Wisenheimer.” Mysus swooped down as she made her through the guards.

“I..." "What?!" His eyebrows creased as his sister took a comfortable position on the floor.

"Yeah well, I've been spending some time in the kingdom's library.” she arched both arms to her head and opened her hands slowly while twirling her eyes. " kapooof, some mind-blowing facts I found, you should try visiting too some time Bilel." Mysus stood as she dusted her clothes.

Lethana's eyes twitched at her daughter's shenanigan. She started toward the Reaper with eagerness more than ever to kill. "I have tolerated you enough." and with that, she picked her up and smashed her through the floor. Every muscle in her body was taut, ready to unleash a lightning-fast strike. The moonlight filtered through the castle, casting a silver glow on her dark, velvety fur as if accentuating her lethal beauty.

Her amber eyes blazed with a feral hunger, She swung down a mighty claw on the Reaper's jaw, slashing through her thin flesh. Blood gushed out nonstop and Lethana brushed a finger against her tongue before letting out a bone-chilling howl that echoed through the walls.

Bilel's heart pounded on his chest, his breath quickened, and beads of sweat formed on his thick brow. He was more afraid for the kingdom than what his mother would do to the Reaper. He knew he needed to stop her but was frightened at her wrath if he dared to intervene.

At that moment, time seemed to stretch as he grappled with the scene unfolding before him, he turned his face toward Mysus but with was met with a hard glare,

"Do something." She mouthed

Her words stung him. Her words always did. Fear gripped Bilel's every nerve, threatening to overwhelm him, and his heartbeat raced faster, Yet, within the depths of his being, a flicker of resilience emerged. He refused to succumb to the paralyzing grip of terror. Determination surged through his veins like wildfire, igniting a fierce will to stop his mother. Summoning every ounce of courage, he made his decision. In a breathtaking burst of speed, he leaped forward.

Lethana was caught off guard by Bilel's unexpected burst of speed but quickly recovered, she lunged forward with a menacing growl, but her attempt to grasp him fell short. He rushed back at her but he was no match for his mother's strength as she caught him in mid-air and smashed him into the exact place the Reaper was, their colliding bodies made the Reaper launch backward into unconsciousness.

Mysus's mouth fell wide agape and was torn between the desire to flee from the unfolding nightmare and the compulsion to intervene and offer solace to her brother.
