C11 Entering the witches clenched fist

"Who's there?." I asked summoning all the courage left in me.

And just then, a shadow appeared out of the darkness and voila, it was Hazel.

My mind did a little dance.

I looked behind her and saw her friends standing behind her.

It must be the blondies'...sorry Charlotte's scent that mother sniffed, because she said humans.

And now, I had to hide them somehow.

"Flin—." Hazel began but it wasn't really safe for her to say a word, as the whole temple was in jeopardy.

"Shh….. Don't…make….a….sound." I whispered, and immediately, I pulled Hazel into my room as her friends followed suit, and I bolted the door.

"What is wrong with that silly brain of yours, girls? I told you that you can't come here, didn't I?." I scolded when I had bolted th door.

"Flint, we just came to let you know that we are sorry for the way we spoke to you earlier, it was all out of stupidity. We accept you as our friend….." Hazel stopped as Kayla interrupted.

"Irrespective of your kind or creature, you can be one of us as long as you promise not to hurt us." She said and Hazel shot her a deadly glare.

"So can we all be friends?." Hazel asked and stared intently at me. Her voice was so soothing and heart melting.

Instead of answering the question, I found myself asking a more confusing question.

"How did you find me?." I asked.

"Kayla as a wolf picked up your scent—." She explained. "So what do you say?., Are we friends?." She asked again, this time, rather impatiently.

I couldn't help but smile, looking at this girls risking their lives to ask such silly yet interesting question.

I was overjoyed, seeing that mum's words weren't all together true. But a knock on the door caused us to pamic In fright.

"Flint." Tayla's voice called out.

"Stay here and don't make a sound." I whispered to them, and went to answer Tayla's call.

"Flint, open the door." Tayla called out again.

"I'm coming, don't you have any ounce of patience?." I asked sarcastically before opening the door.

"Your mum sent for you, so you have to go and answer her now." Tayla said.

"Since when have I been at your beck and call?." I asked with a slight frown on my face.

"Flint, the whole temple is in frenzy, and you're the only one acting all suspicious and nonchalant." Tayla screamed at me.

"Suspicious? Really? You can get suspicious for all I care. Anyways tell my mother that I'd be down in a jiffy." I said and without wasting any more time, I banged the door and heaved a sigh of relief.

"You have to get out of here now!!." I said to them and opened my window which led directly outside the gate.

"How can we leave when you've not answered our question?." Hazel queried.

"Of course we are friends, now I have to get you out of here." I said, and a smile of satisfaction beamed on Hazel's face.

And just then the door bursted open.

{Xanders pov: Hazel's Father.}

I had forced all wolf's to live in the pack house and not their different houses, firstly, for their safety, secondly, so it could be easier to control the pack. The nightmare's of Emily and Elodie kept coming frequently, and that drained peace out of my life.

Daniel, my Beta had done his possible best to get to know the truth, but i decided that this nightmare's were things i had to deal with alone.

"Xander, another kidnap has occurred." Daniel said as he barged into my room.

"Who is it, this time?." I asked slightly irritated.

"Lucy, the gamma's daughter." Daniel reported.

It has become very severe and alarming that most wolf's in my pack were kidnapped, and worst of all, with no trace of any of them.

"Xander, i just said that Lucy was kidnapped, and you're mute?." Daniel said sarcastically with a frown on his face.

"What do i have to do?, I mean, what can I even do?. Kids disappear with not even the slightest trace of their disappearance. Simply because, I'm the Alpha doesn't make me a diviner to know where they are. All i can say now is, everyone should be prepared for the worst that may erupt at any given time. We are not safe, we have to keep our hands on deck, and eyes at alert. I mean, if kids can disappear In the pack house with no one noticing, then what can't we expect?. What can't happen?. Go and assemble everyone in the hall, i have to address them immediately." I commanded with anger pulsing through my veins.

"Did i just stand there and let you rant out rubbish for like 5 minutes and i just watched you blab it all out?." Daniel said immediately i finished speaking, with his mouth wide open.

"Dan—" i tried saying but the next second he interrupted.

"Stop please, I'll just go and assemble all the wolf's, my Lord." He said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Whatever, I'm still your Alpha." I said and rolled my eyes in dismay.

"Huh, and I'm still your Beta." Daniel said and stormed out of the room.

{Xena's Pov}

I had sent for Flint, and Tayla said that he was getting down in a jiffy. He took more time than possible, so i had to go up to his room.

As i got closer, human scent filled the air, and as i approached it got more stronger and stronger, till i got to flint's room.

When i got there, i had to burst the door open to see, because if i knocked and the human was in flint's room he'd never spill. I wonder what kind of child he is, that forsakes his own people and helps others.

When i got nearer, i had them chitchatting and i had to channel my inner energy and break the door.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?." I said and they all turned around in fright.

What good luck, the girl i had sent Tayla to hunt was right here, in the temple already.
