Chapter Eleven
A groan preceded several knocks sounding on Amareux's door. He tossed in his bed and covered his ears with the pillow. But, it was futile because even with the pillow around his ears to muffle the knocking sound, he could hear it as clear as day.
Finally, Amareux gave up. He threw back his covers and sat up. Planting both of his palms on the bed beside him, he glared at the door
