“Leave Cristo to me,” Selene said, sensing my hesitation. “Just focus on finding the right woman.”

She released my hand and I pulled it back gratefully. Placing both hands on my laps, I clenched them into fists.

“I will um, consider it.”

“Thank you.” Selene smiled brightly and rose from her seat. She shoved her hand into her purse and slid a card across my desk
