C25 Chapter 24

I kept my head down because of shame. Until Miss Amara pulled me to the other section of bikinis. My plan was to just wear shorts and a one-piece swimsuit, but it looks like that won't happen because Miss Amara chooses what I wear. Sigh.

We also spent some time at Miss Amara's boutique because she was also shopping for herself. He said that he has no more office attire to wear and Miss Amara is seriously tired. I just watched him try on different office attire, and everything he chose was unfair to him. Even when he paid for our shinoppings, I waited for him in the waiting area.

"Hungry." / "Hungry." Miss Amara and I said together after we left the boutique. Both his and mine were full of shopping bags. We just laughed and then he took me to an expensive restaurant.

"Miss Amara looks expensive too, I don't have any money." I whispered to him when we were at the entrance. I also don't see anything else inside but only men in suits and ties while the women are dressed up and look social.

"What the hell! Way to get Mr. Steinfield's credit card." He answered me and then he pulled me directly into the restaurant. I was greeted by a woman wearing a kimono and then a young man.

"Table for you Ma'am. This way please." And then he guided us to a hallway, but I don't know why, before Miss Amara and I finally entered the place where we were going to eat, I suddenly turned around.

I even stopped where I was standing when a woman and a man entered the restaurant. That's how the pulse quickened as soon as the two people entered the restaurant. The woman's arm was still hugging the man's arm and then they were greeted by the new receptionist at the entrance.

The three of them stopped for a moment and then they talked for a while and then the receptionist held out her hand. I once again returned my attention to Miss Amara when she called me.

"Miss Angeline, we're here! What are you looking at?"

"Huh? Ahh... W-nothing." And then I quickly approached him but I couldn't concentrate because of what I saw. Cipher and Trigger!

"You know, Miss Angeline, I found out about this restaurant because of Mr. Steinfield. Their Japanese foods here are delicious, especially their best seller is the Yakitori in the English Grilled Chicken because they are grilled but my twist is because they are placed on a bamboo stick..."

Miss Amara told me a lot about the best seller, but I was not absorbed in what she was saying. I can't get Cipher and Trigger out of my mind! They are also my date now! What's wrong with them? I'm itching to know what! Maybe Trigger is ordering clothes from Ciffer? Ha! Why did I just think of that now?

And because I really couldn't be bothered anymore, when Miss Amara and I were served my food, I just said goodbye, but the truth is I'm going to look at Ciffer and Trigger.

"Perfect!" And then he pulled me to the locker room. She was a girl who was ordered to get a kimono, but when she ordered, she said that she didn't have any, but she handed me a putting polo shirt, slacks, and then a black cap and hairnet. He looked at me from side to side and when his crew reached, I smiled at him and then said 'it's okay'.

He is right and my cap, I can use it to hide my face so they don't recognize me and I really speed up so I don't miss the conversation with Ciffer and so I can deliver their order.

"It's easy for you to do, just serve. Because we have a lot of customers every morning until noon and most of them are businessmen, of course you have to serve their orders on time and they might get angry with us. That's why we hire part-timers."

"Okay, good luck and happy shift!" I nodded to him and then I adjusted my cap to cover my face and then I took the tray where Ciffer's order was placed, I also took a push cart because the contents of the tray were quite heavy and we still had the same orders , Yakitori. I couldn't help but frown.

I was even squinting a bit because the cap was blocking my eyes, luckily I was able to get to Ciffer's place unscathed. My heart almost came out of my ribcage as I walked towards them Ciffer, I really hope they don't recognize me.
