C31 Chapter 30

"Uh. I've accepted you and s-besides... I thought it's because you s-don't F-Facebook that so I checked and then I saw your... b-birth date." Sigh. "I googled it too to be sure." Weak to say to him. I didn't hear any answer from him so I just continued talking.

"Uhm. S-since I can't buy a cake here and would love to surprise you so I made the cake at least in the sand." And then I smiled.

"T-Trigger... what's the matter... ma–" I was about to speak when Trigger suddenly asked me.

"Why?" At the same time as he met my gaze. "Why do you want to surprise me Nicole? I can't see any reason why you need to do all this effort?" And then he avoided looking at me and turned to the dark ocean.

"If you are doing this because you are starting to fall for me... if you're starting to love me, stop. Just stop, Nicole. Remember one of the rules, no falling in love." And then he stood up and walked away from me. I was left dumbfounded, I didn't even notice that I was crying.

I should stop whatever I feel for him. I didn't fall for him because I've loved him for a long time! This Triger is annoying! The moment we had last night was perfect, all of a sudden he did a don't me moment. Sigh.

Besides, what girl doesn't fall in love with what she does? He is so sweet! It's not enough for us to be official and we're slowly becoming a couple! It's good and somehow I have a lot of courage so even though I'm heartbroken by what happened last night, I still want to be with him. I heard a series of knocks until I heard Trigger's familiar voice.

"You're taking forever again Nicole!" He shouted from outside my door! Aye! Yes it is! Turns out I said goodbye to Trigger that I'll just dress in swim wear because we're going to be beach activities again today. I answered him immediately.

"Yes there!" And then I hurriedly put on my bikini top. A white see-through bikini top, and it's literally see-though because at least there are little puddings to cover the nipples. Sigh.

It's okay, Trigger saw it. So know that he won't be surprised if he sees my bikini top like this. I paired it with a black bikini.

And since Miss Amara took the same design of bikini's from me, I was not surprised to see a v-shape. Almost one-fourth of my groin is visible again. It's really good and I was able to shave before we went on vacation here.

Like we did yesterday, we rode Trigger's jet ski again until we got to the back side of the island. My eyes widened when I saw a pair of fly board shoes not far from where Trigger and I were.

Of course, he got off first and I was about to follow when he suddenly grabbed both of my waists to help me get off the jet ski.

"Uh. T-thanks." I told him but like before I got no answer from him. I followed Trigger as he approached the fly board.

"We're going to fly board today." And then he lifted one of the shoes. I smiled because of the excitement. I used to only watch on TV the hosts of travel shows fly-fly boards, sometimes I also imagined myself flying fly-boards but of course it's just my imagination, I can't afford it. Then now I will experience it!

"What are you smiling at?" Trigger asked me so I turned my attention back to him. He looks like he is fixing it on the fly board.

"Uhhmm. Just excited." And then I smiled even though he couldn't see. He is very busy with what he is doing. Until he asked me to go to the man made-flat form so that we could fly boarding.

"I'm nervous." I was just thinking that I would stand on top of the water as if it was hard.

"Don't. It will be fun, I assure you. Just relax." He told me and then he showed me how the remove that comes with fly boarding works. The first button is the normal height, the second button is quite high until the third button is the extreme one.

"Let's start!" Trigger agreed with me and then he went fly boarding in the water first. His screams echoed when he finally stood in the water. It was obvious from his face that he was enjoying himself very much. He also laughs and sometimes smiles to himself. Looks like I'll enjoy it more if I just watch Trigger.

"Nicole what are you still doing there?" He asked me when he settled down just standing in the water. I swallowed one after another and then I answered him.

"I'm a little scared! I'll wait for you here!"

"Don't be such a killjoy!" He answered me. But I'm afraid! Yes, it's a fun activity but it looks scary at the same time!

"I-I really don't want to!" And then I sat on the edge of the platform. I also noticed Trigger when I took the fly boarding shoes off my feet, I even heard the loud splash of water that I think was from Trigger playing fly boarding but I didn't hear him laughing or shout My forehead is so swollen. It was also because of the surprise that I went to where Trigger was and that's how I lost my heart when I didn't see Trigger.

"TRIGGER?" I called him but I got no answer from him. I stood up and then I put both of my hands on the side of my mouth and again when I shouted Trigger's name but like before when I called him, I still didn't get an answer.

I ran to the beach and then I circled it as far as I could see, I also listened carefully to the water of his fly board but it was gone. I only hear the sound of the sea. My entire system was immediately enveloped in a sky-high nervousness and my tears started to well up.

"TRIGGER! TRIGGER WHERE ARE YOU?!" But I still haven't got an answer! Oh my God! Maybe I'm thinking wrong, right?

"TRIGGER! TRIGGER ANSWER IT!" Until my voice broke completely.
