C5 List

"Do you have an appointment ma'am?" serious promise of the woman at the front desk near its office.

I pursed my lips.

"Hmm... I'm just being sent here."

"If that's the case then you can't get inside his office. You need to have an appointment to get inside. Once you have scheduled one to come back on that day," he said directly.

I pursed my lips for the second time. "Can you just call him on the intercom? Okay, go, he knows me. He needs my help and he hasn't even fixed this thing!"

"I don't work for you Ma'am," she stated.

"Not really because if you work for me I'll get rid of you right away." I whispered.

"Come again ma'am?"

"No! I'm not coming back yet. Tell your boss that he's going to ask the wall how to flirt!"

"You're late." I forgot to hear its baritone voice.

The woman at the front desk bowed.

"Good morning Sir."

I faced him. A glance at her. "Do I have a meeting right now?"

"This time is your vacant sir. You have a meeting with Mr. Tolendo before lunch." aniya. This rude woman looks like his secretary. In my estimation, he was only two or three years older than me.

He picked it up and then turned his gaze to me.

"I'm sorry about her sir, she was just leaving. She doesn't have an appointment. I told her to schedule an appointment if she wants to talk to you. I will call the guards now Sir." It reached the phone to the side.

"Excuse me Miss you don't have to do that because aali ---"

"Don't bother, Victoria. I forgot to tell you about this appointment."

The woman's eyes narrowed at me.

"Follow me, Miss Vena," he commanded.

It will walk first. I even glanced at Victoria, her secretary looked at me badly now that the boss had turned his back.

What's wrong with his secretary?

I adjusted the handle on the box then followed Braxton. I put the box down in the cabinet, it was as high as my waist.

I stretched out my arms. Seriously, it's hard to lift that box! I was in the middle of stretching my arm when it spoke.

"I don't know if you miss Vena but time is important to me. I don't tolerate tardiness especially if you're working for me."

He sat on his fancy high-backed swivel chair. I was so tired from carrying the box that I didn't even notice his spacious and luxurious office.

The furniture is perfectly furnished. The bright chandelier above lights the whole office and the interior design is amazing. Behind his desk is a glass wall.

"Miss Vena are you listening"

"Y-yes." I still stared at its office. I can't help but compare it to Dad's office, it's big and neat but it's not like this... It's beautiful.

"We should start now. You already wasted one hour of my precious time Miss Vena."

Beauty does not contaminate the habit of the owner!

"Time won't be wasted, if you adjust the appointment schedule. Remember you're the one who needs me," I stated.

He leaned on the table. "And remember you need me to miss Vena. Without my offer you wouldn't be here."

I wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t been forced to sign the contract. I thought he is nice, it would help wholeheartedly. Eventually there is also a replacement.

What else can I expect? Everything in the world today has a replacement. I needed his help that night, if I hadn't been surrounded by reporters. I will also make a replacement, just fair for the two of us.

'So you don't get to the top, you don't know spells.'

Mossy is right. I need to cast spells ...

I glanced at him. I probably won’t swallow him! Mossy does not mean literally. I’m sure it’s not your link that I think that's what Mossy means.

I have to put up with that! Even though I don't like this man, I still can't forget how he took my coffee and what happened after that.

"Take a seat miss Vena," he commanded.

I shrugged off the thought. I grabbed the box above then sat on a chair in front of him. I put the box on my lap.

He looked down there. "You can put that down if you're uncomfortable," he suggested.

"Let's get started Sir." I ignored what it said. Isn't his time important?

He raised an eyebrow.

"How am I going to teach you? What am I going to do? Are you sure you're still really teaching?" I asked in astonishment.

"I wouldn't be persistent if not, miss Vena."

My eyes remained on him. "You don't know how to flirt? That's the trend now." I laughed at the promise.

"Hinarot then chinarot!"

The way his forehead creased implies that he has no idea what I'm saying.

"Are you serious? You don't really know that? You don't have late night talks? You kept watch but forgot?" I asked.

Its forehead furrowed even more. Will also meet eyebrows.

"Where are you from and you don't know anything about those things?"

"I'm the only heir of my family's riches, Miss Vena. I don't have time for those things."

"You don't really know how to flirt? It's really impossible!"

"I've been busy training to be a leader when I was a child. I don't have interaction with anyone except my family and tutors."

My eyebrow raised. "Is that serious?"

"I don't joke around Miss Vena."

“Don’t say you haven’t liked in your whole life so you don’t know how to flirt?

"I like someone, she's the reason why I'm doing this."

My mouth gaped. "Oh ..."

"I want you to teach me how to flirt with her. I want to make sure she'll like me."

I kept looking at him. It does not need to be taught to flirt for a woman to like him.

Any woman will like him. I’m sure this job is just easy. Who wouldn't like him? He is rich, he has a beautiful body...

He is handsome ...

So who wouldn’t like him?

I probably will!

Even though he is handsome and rich, he is arrogant! Your kindness is more handsome than the man!

I arranged a seat. "How can I do that? Shouldn't you be a real flirting expert and not come to me."

"Those flirting experts could be tricky while you can't. You need the record deal and your reputation on boys is peculiar."

My eyes narrowed. "That's why you'll get the record deal after."

"Huh?"

"You'll get the record deal when she's my girlfriend already."

"It's too late! Then what if he doesn't like you? Can he turn off your behavior? You're arrogant!"

He glared at me. "That's why I hired you. It's your job to make her like me."

"My job is to teach you to flirt, not to make you a saint!"

He glared at me. I rolled my eyes at him. You won't scare me to think that!

I thought my job was easy!

How is this?

Yes I'm good at flirting but I can't fix someone's bad behavior. That's why my ex has increased because I can't fix their bad habits!

"My payment for this session is on your card now."

"Huh?"

"In every session of your lesson, there's a payment."

That rings a bell in my ear. He should have said first, it's easy to talk to me. Especially now that my contract with the studio is over.

"I'll advance the payment if I learn something from you today."

I grinned. If she really didn’t know how to flirt, it would teach me a lot!

"But wait, how did you find out my bank account?"

"Don't ask about it, just your bank account."

Hmm... How can I teach him? Will I just tell him everything I know? Do I need to powerpoint? How many slides are needed?

Shit I need to make a lesson plan on how to flirt!

I stood up in the chair. My thigh is sore.

"Shit!" I cheaply let a bee out of the box.

Why is there a bee in the box ?!

That didn't exist before!

Shit are my things!

My things from the box scattered around his desk and on the floor.

"You're clumsy, miss Vena." aniya.

I knelt on the floor, quickly picking up the scattered ballpen, notebook, albums and whatnot.

"I'm not clumsy, Mr. Braxton. There's a bee!"

Oh really for me! I picked up the utensils that were on its table. I put that in the box.

I examined the things in the box.

Shit!

The notebook! Where is my notebook?

I scratched the box again. Did I leave that in the recording room? Nako naman oh! I don’t want to go back there!

"Are you looking for this?"

I looked up at him. He's holding my pink feathery notebook.

I sighed in relief.

Thank goodness! I thought it was left there!

I picked it up, and I checked the box again. There is nothing missing there.

"Miss Vena." I turned to him.

"What is... This?" My gaze landed on the paper he was holding.

My eyes widened when he opened the folded paper.

Shit!

I tried to take it from him but it turned away from me. He did that quickly because of the swivel chair.

"W-that's all!" palusot ko.

"Are you sure this is nothing, Miss Vena?" he turned around.

"Y-yes," I stuttered.

He stared intently at the paper. "This is a list of names..."

He looked up at me. "List of what?"

Shit!

"W-that's nothing!"

He scanned the paper. "Johnny Youngman, Fergo Dorez ... Who are these people listed here?"

Shit! Artemesia think!

"Ah! That? That's the one who owes me! List of those who owe me!"

Right! List owed me!

"This is a long list ... I don't know if you lend money to boys," he smirked.

Shit! Why am I lying? There’s nothing wrong with that, I’m sure I’m not the only one who did it!

"Did someone pay you already? Is this list updated because there's no crossed line in here. Do they really owe you money?" he teased.

I sighed. "That's the list of my exe's."

"You're a player are you, Miss Vena? He smirked.

I rolled my eyes. "That's mine!" It avoided the role I was trying to take.

"Are you going to hide?" he chuckled.

"What to hide? I'll throw that away!" I corrected him. "It's mine!"

He avoided that again. His eyebrow raised. "Don't throw this list, you'll need it."

My forehead furrowed at what he said. "Huh?"

"Well, use this list of your exe's to teach me how to flirt. You'll tell me how you met them and what they did to make you like them."

My eyes widened. "No way! I'm not going back to the past."

"Haven't you been able to move on yet?"

"Naka

move on nako no!" my answer.

"Good, because you'll be talking a lot about them," he said.

I took a deep breath. My gaze landed on the paper he was holding.

I close my eyes tightly. Shit.
