Meet Dr. Howard the Chief Executive Officer of Hans group of company, he is also the richest man in our country. Even the president bows at his presence. Hey!sleeping beauty we are already late for work.. Cecilia my sister from another mother was always the one to save me from troubles.I woke up with a start ,the time was 7;30am.

ME: Ouch my bad,I don't know why am always late for everything....

Cecilia; Except food...

I threw the pillow at her but she was fast enough to durge it..

Cecilia; Please stop playing we are already late..Remember we are meeting the chairman today.

ME; Eish just give me 10mins.. Within 15mins we were at the road side boarding a trotro(the local bus)..

Everyone was already seated at the conference room and with the look of things, the meeting had already started..We tiptoed quietly and sat at the back . I made the sign of the cross and sat behind Cindy.The CEO took the stand and gave us a short and interesting speech..Then at the end he said due to his age he is retiring so his son Jumong will be taking over his position from the next month. The awws and awes there made me teary.(yes i was a little emotional but people misunderstood me to be a drama queen

A month later.....

I walked briskly to the cafeteria.(of course i was 3mins earlier as usual)I took my coffee and waited for Cecilia at our usual place.

I finished my coffee and started thinking about the financial condition at home.Though we don't beg for food,the condition at home was not encouraging as well..I was more or less the breadwinner of the family.. Of course it wasn't surprising since i was the first child of the family. Jeffery and Jephter my twin brothers were just adorable except for their carelessness.. Aunt Elsie my stepmom was an interesting character. . Well i will say she never treated me bad or did not once made me miss my mum but she was just not satisfied with whatever i do. In other words she always had something to say about everything i did even when i do the right thing. An example is when i received the award as the overall best student during my graduation at the University of Ghana. She couldn't stop clapping even when all the audience stopped clapping. She stood up and gave me a hug and kissed my chicks. Yes i knew she was proud of me and i was proud of her too as my mother for all the motherly love she has been giving me since my mum left.

She prepared my favourite meal and bought my first Android phone for me as a gift on my birthday.But later in the night she asked why i was smiling so much at the guy who came second to me.I cuffed and walked straight to the room after the question.Of course i had become use to her..The nagging mum i would call her but was the best.

Though every lady of 23 years earning the amount am receiving every month would be ok but i was not because i had to pay bills every month,cater for the house expenses and look after my two young brothers who were in JHS.My daddy did not receive any monthly allowance because he had to pay up the loan he took to finish our three bedroom house(that was to my advantage because i need not to pay any rent)and the two workers loan he took for his two brothers who traveled with it.Come to think of it,how can Uncle Yaw and Theo be so heartless..

I snapped out of my thought and coofed.Do you have to shout am just here?

Cecilia; because i have been sitting here for close to 2minutes and you seems to be lost in thought..

Cecilia; Well i was having a chat with Ekow...

Ekow was our accountant and he and Cecilia have been dating for close to a year. Finally it was 5:00pm and time to go home. Cecy and I decided to walk home instead of boarding a car to save our 2 cedis. Oh Queen,cant wait to see the chairman's son..They say he is cute and looks like an angel from above.A GREEK god to be precised.Cessy said dreamily..I am indeed very tired i said to get my friend out from her dreamland..Yes you must, being the only lady in the operations department and the favourite employee of your manager..Yeah that reminds me,I have to cancel my date with him.. Am very tired I said and handed her sandals to me to fetch her phone from her bag..Uhm, I'll call him and just tell him my dad is not well and i cant leave him alone.Liar queen,Cecy said and dodge on time to avoid the punch..I opened my bag and started searching for it,I finally saw it and brought it out,she was about to press the screen when a car with full speed splashed water on them....causing her phone to fall in the process.

Oh my goodness,Queen are you ok?Cessy asked..No am not Queen answered and before her friend could say another word,Queen started chasing the car.She crossed the car carelessly making the driver to step on the breaks with his eyes closed..He got out of the car and looked at the girl standing in front of his car checking whether she was mentally sound.It was then that Queen realised that she was standing infront of a grey coloured Austin Martin (2021) edition..Yes Queen was a car lover and was always checking latest cars online at her free time.. Her jaw dropped open at the site of the driver..He was more than the word handsome...
