QUEEN; Sir you called....

JUMONG; Hmm! how are you?

QUEEN; (murmuring).. As if you just saw me

JUMONG; Heard that..

QUEEN; (scratching her hair and smiling)mmmm!but is true..well am fine thank you.

JUMONG; Wont you ask how i am?Didn't they teach you in nursery to add what about you when you are being ask how you are?(raising his brows)

QUEEN; But sir asking you would be a rhetorical question.. All rich dudes are always fine except the greedy ones..

He chuckled.

JUMONG; Anyway you are looking good..

QUEEN; Thank you sir..(she smiled )and you too

JUMONG; Hmm i know!

QUEEN; Na wah oh !you see? They all laughed out loud

JUMONG; Please can i have the files for today?And please what are my schedules?

Queen went ahead and summarised all that needed to be told to her boss..

JUMONG; Well when is 1pm, we will go out for lunch..

QUEEN;OK..(then as if she just remembered something)sir who and who?

JUMONG;(shaking his head ) You and I. show me around town

QUEEN; okay only if i had finish with the needed things.

Queen went about her work diligently for the day.. In fact she had began to love her new position just the first day... What amused her was she was served breakfast in her office.. And the beverage was different from what other employees were eating..It was rich and super delicious.. Hmm an advantage of being next to the CEO she thought and laughed out loud.. About 5mins to their lunch break,she called her friend from the office line..

Voice; Hello Mina speaking from the reception department..

QUEEN; Mina is Queen can i please speak to Cessy?

MINA; Eerr Queen ok but wait oh is it true that you are now the personal secretary to the CEO?

QUEEN; (rolling her eyes)yes madam

MINA; Why did you know him already before he came? but you were doing good at the marketing department..how did u get that connection?

QUEEN; (cuffed) Madam please give the phone to Cessy am in a hurry..

MINA; ok.. wait.

Queen didn't really click with Mina because when it comes to gossip, she was the number one the company..

CESSY; Hey boss,didn't see you during breakfast..were you too busy to miss food?(she laughed lightly).

QUEEN; No dear I was served breakfast in the office..

CESSY; Wow that's great!so am i not seeing you during lunch?

QUEEN; That's why i called.Knew you would be expecting me..Will be going out to have lunch with the boss.

CESSY; What?eii what happened?

QUEEN; I will explain everything to you when we go home. talk to you later..

Few Hours Later.

JUMONG: Queen are you ready?

QUEEN; YES sir..(she said and took her handbag..)

They went towards the car park and all eyes were on them.

MINA; Tapping a colleague. I think they are seeing eachother. She said looking around.

She stopped talking and went to her cabinet when she realised none was interested in her gosip.She was eagerly waiting to close from work so that she would meet her gossip mates from the other department to give them information.

The ride through town was a an uncomfortable one for both Queen and Jumong. They just concentrated on the cools music they were playing on the radio. Moments later, they started playing More of You by John Legend.. And so coincidentally,it was both Queen and Jumong's favourite song.

JUMONG POV

We both started singing the song from our hearts .And as if the DJ had an idea that we were both enjoying , he repeated the song again. We sang our hearts out and very soon we were looking into each others eyes singing..

QUEEN POV

I don't know why I can't control myself when it comes to John Legends songs. I sang my heart out.. Felt embarrassed when I realised i was singing into my boss' eyes.

QUEEN; (feeling embarrass)do you love his songs?

JUMONG; Yes actually it brings into reality memories that i wish was there now..(smiled)

QUEEN POV

WOW i must confess he is a true definition of the word handsome..I love his well arranged white teeth..I must say he really knows how to take care of himself..

JUMONG POV

Yes indeed John Legend songs bring memories to me..For the first time am not crying whiles singing his song..I must say is because of the beauty beside me..

We spoke more about his songs and some few arts that coincidentally we both liked..About 30mins later i told the driver to park infront of Hero's Home Restaurant.. From the look of his face he didn't seems to like the environment..I ignored him and got down from the car and surprisingly he was sitting looking at me like a dummy...Before i could say anything he asked the obvious question.....

JUMONG; HEY psycho!do you expect me to eat here?

QUEEN; (faking an obvious smile)yes sir..

But don't worry bills on me..just get down and thank me later..I said and he got down sluggishly..

AT THE Restaurant

AS THEY ENTERED

QUEEN ; HEY Mrs Boison (she hugged a fat plumpy dark lady)

MB; Aww welcome sweetheart..Its been long.. why have they not been giving you bonuses at your work of late?she asked laughing

QUEEN;Na wah for you oh aunt.... well am here now..

Of course Mrs Boison was Queen's aunt.. She was her stepmum's stepsister and they really got on so well..Aunt Sandra as Queen normally call her has become a confidant and friend to Queen....

MB;(as if she just saw Jumong)welcome handsome(she said shaking his hand violently)have a seat ..

They got settled and Queen stared at Jumong as if she wanted him to say something.

JUMONG POV

Why is she looking at me like that?

Just then a lady who would be in her twenties came and ask what we would love to eat..

JUMONG; Eerrm bottled water.. Just that

QUEEN; No don't mind my friend give us banku(a local food) and tilapia..errmm i think three balls will be ok with the biggest fish..

and pancake as desert and hibiscus drink for take away...

JUMONG; What? am not eating anything. For crying out loud am ok..

QUEEN (smiling)sir will you please trust me?

JUMONG: No he said puffing air with the no.

QUEEN:

I see(folding both her hands on her boobs)No you said? Errm let's do this. Taste the food here and If you don't like it, I will sponsor your lunch for a month at any restaurant of your choice

JUMONG(sounding excited)Sure?

Queen nods a yes

Ok is a deal he finally said. Few minutes later their meals were served.
