Her small bakery had become a beloved spot in the city, renowned for it's delicious treats and warm atmosphere. While the world knew little of Kathleen, her life was filled with simple joys of of motherhood and delectable delights.

Lana, now a bright and imaginative four-year old, brought joy and laughter to Kathleen's heart. Everyday was a new adventure, filled with tiny hands covered in flour, impromptu tea parties, and bed time stories every night.

Kathleen reveled in her daughter's innocent giggles and the radiant love that enveloped their lives.

Though word apart, Kathleen occasionally caught glimpse of Charles's current life. A newspaper article here, a TV interview there, which reopened old wounds that had yet to heal. While Charles's heart ached whenever he thought of Kathleen, because of his insatiable pursuit of success it had cost him Kathleen and a life filled with love and genuine connection.
