C5 CHAPTER FIVE

Richmond gently carried Aurora to his bed, tucking her in before quietly slipping out of the room. He headed down the hall to his mom's room, and a soft invitation prompted him to enter.

Inside, his mom welcomed him with a warm embrace, a reflection of the special bond they shared. Taking a seat on the couch, Richmond patiently waited for his mom to finish her tasks, and soon they found themselves wrapped in a delightful conversation.

Sharing tales of his day at the office, there was a lingering thought he hesitated to reveal. The weight of admitting he was a nymphomaniac hung in the air, but the shame held him back, and he decided to change the subject swiftly.

As their conversation concluded, he bid his mom goodnight and made his way back to his room. Opening the door, he discovered Aurora awake and on her knees, seeking forgiveness. Surprised, he reassured her, lifting her and lightening the mood. Aurora, with gratitude in her eyes, hurriedly left the room, clutching a ceramic plate.

Amused by her antics, Richmond chuckled and turned off the light, preferring the calm of darkness for sleep. As he drifted into slumber.

Aurora, waking up in his bed, was bewildered, recalling falling asleep on the couch. The mystery of the night lingered in the quiet spaces between dreams.

Aurora lay there, contemplating whether Sir Richmond had placed her in his bed, but she dismissed the thought, enticed by the comfort of the inviting mattress. As she considered getting up, the bed's allure drew her back into its sweet embrace, lulling her back to sleep.

Just as she succumbed to slumber, Sir Richmond entered, and she jolted awake with trepidation. An involuntary kneel emerged from fear, yet to her surprise, he rushed to prevent it. Rising quickly, her gaze inadvertently fixed on his lips, a momentary distraction before she regained composure, expressed gratitude, and carried the ceramic plate out.

In the kitchen, she diligently washed the plate and returned it to its place. Just as she turned away, Alabama, a figure of dread, appeared. Though fear gripped her, Aurora stood her ground, enduring Alabama's mocking laughter. A mysterious whisper reached her ears, revealing Alabama's disdain and intentions to make her suffer.

Alabama left the kitchen, tears streamed down Aurora's face. After a cathartic cry, she wiped away the tears, mustering courage. When she left the kitchen, finding the house deserted, she retreated to her room, deciding to call her brother. With each ring, anticipation built until he answered, and they shared stories of their day.

After their conversation, Aurora found solace in sleep, leaving behind the trials of the day in the soft embrace of dreams.

Richmond woke up and dressed for work before joining his family in the dining room. As he sat down to eat, he noticed Aurora was missing. Just as he turned his eyes, Aurora appeared, filling him with happiness. Quickly finishing his meal, he headed to his office, greeted by his workers.

At noon, he took his medicine, anticipating a meeting with the president's daughter. When she arrived, her attire was inappropriate. Despite discussing business for an hour, she seemed more focused on him in a disturbing way.

Ignoring her advances, he concluded the deal, only for her to make a provocative move. Unaffected due to his medication, he firmly escorted her out, disapproving of her behavior.

STANFORD UNIVERSITY

Rob returned from the taxi just before entering Stanford University, spotting Kourtney beside her sleek Lamborghini. Kourtney greeted him warmly and offered a ride, which he graciously accepted.

As they stepped into their department, all eyes turned towards them, but Rob remained indifferent to the attention. After school, they stayed for a tutoring session. When Kourtney asked which subject to start with, Rob suggested Surg 208, an early clinical experience in surgery. He tutored her for two hours, and she made progress.

After the session, Kourtney insisted on dropping him home. At his house, she seemed oddly familiar, even though it was their first time there. They shared a meal, and as she left, she surprised him with a kiss before driving away, leaving Rob smiling.

Meanwhile, Kourtney, on her way home, cherished the memory of the kiss. Excitement filled her as she entered her house, raising the curiosity of the household staff. After a refreshing bath, she lay down, scrolling through pictures she had taken of Rob, eventually drifting off to sleep with a contented smile.

HERDON MANSION

Richmond wearily returned from work, his fatigue palpable. Without pause, he headed directly to his room, immersing himself in a refreshing bath before succumbing to the embrace of sleep.

Aurora entered the room, the door closing behind her. Richmond lay sound asleep on the king-size bed. As she approached, she couldn't help but notice his striking features a face so handsome, it almost seemed like something out of an anime.

She found herself captivated by his jawline, long lashes, and lips. A slight nervousness crept over her as her gaze lingered on his bare neck, causing her to absentmindedly fold her clothes in her fingers.

"Did you finish inspecting me with those eyes?" His deep voice startled her, and Aurora, in her attempt to retreat, gasped loudly. Caught off guard, she stumbled backward, only to find herself falling onto the bed as she locked eyes with him, realizing he was gazing at her dreamily.

Richmond's eyes widened when she unexpectedly tumbled onto him, prompting him to tightly press his lips together and shut his eyes.

"What the heck?" he muttered, realizing he'd used a curse word. Opening his eyes, he found himself staring at her.

"Oh my. I am sorry!" Aurora exclaimed, hastily scrambling off his body. Her face turned a deep shade of red as she nervously rubbed her palms together and averted her gaze.

"Are you always this clumsy?" Richmond inquired, sitting up, and the bed covers slipped off, revealing he wasn't wearing a shirt. She quickly looked away.

"Aurora's assurance, 'I am not clumsy, Sir Richmond; drew a chuckle from him.

"I will fetch your meal; she declared, swiftly leaving. Richmond smiled, shaking his head, his gaze lingering on her departing figure, contemplating the mystery beneath those baggy trousers.

Upon her return with the meal, as she served, her lips held a captivating spell. Entranced, I found myself staring at those lips, close and irresistible. Unconsciously, I uttered, " I love your lips. In a quick turn, she caught me off guard, her reaction unfolding..."

As the sun set on this chapter of our conversation, the pages of our dialogue turned eagerly toward the unwritten future. Join me, and together we'll explore the unfolding narrative of what lies ahead.
