“Have you identified the person?” I ask, my voice strained despite my efforts to stay calm.

“Not yet, Mr. Vanderbilt. It appears the cameras were tampered with. We’re analyzing the limited footage we have,” comes the tense reply from my security team.

“Keep me posted immediately if anything comes up,” I instruct before ending the call.
