C7 The Agreement

Sitting behind the desk, I can't help but wonder if I'm making the right decision. I look up at Nicholas Vanderbilt whose eyes never seem to leave mine.

“ You've been quiet for a while. What's your decision, Aurora?”

I take a deep breath and nod.

“ I'll do it. I'll be your fake girlfriend.” I sigh.

“ You will?” His face lights up with a smile. I never thought I'd ever see him smile
