C23 Pure and Lustful
Last night, she did indeed bring Bo Yandong home, under the pretense of inviting him upstairs for a cup of tea.
It started as a joke, yet Bo Yandong actually accepted the offer.
After all, who would pass up a meal served on a silver platter?
Sadly, without the necessary ingredients, even the most skilled cook can't prepare a meal, just as a diligent ox can't plow a field without land!
She was on her period, truly unable to do anything.
In the end, she reluctantly had to send him away.
She could only blame her own infatuation for forgetting that Gu Zhinan, with his exceptional hearing, was at home.
"It's okay. He just came up for a 'cup of tea' and then left," Gu Zhiwei explained with a forced smile.
Gu Zhinan nodded, looking exceedingly well-behaved.
A gentle breeze wafted through the window, tousling his deep chestnut hair.
Gu Zhiwei gazed at him quietly, reaching out to stroke his head as she murmured softly, "Zhinan, would you like to come back to the Gu family?"
"Return to the Gu family?" Gu Zhinan seemed taken aback.
After a pause, he looked down and chuckled, "Dad won't accept me."
Gu Zhiwei's fingers tensed, then slowly clenched into a fist.
"Don't worry, the Gu family will be yours eventually!"
Her voice was resolute, brooking no doubt.
Back in her room, Gu Zhiwei lazily applied her makeup, selected a black dress from her closet, and pinned a small white flower by her ear from her vanity.
Her beauty was breathtaking, and even with just a touch of makeup, she could captivate any room.
Her demeanor was most tender and endearing when she was silent and looking down.
If it weren't for the intense fierceness in her eyes when she looked up, anyone would mistake her for a wronged little white rabbit.
Gu Zhiwei observed her reflection in the mirror, her lips curving into a proud smile.
While others attended the banquet to celebrate Gu Ruoshan's birthday, she was determined to turn it into a wake!
She was eagerly anticipating the evening's events, which promised to be spectacular!
In the CEO's office at Bo's Group.
Bo Yandong sat gracefully in a leather chair, fiddling with a RMS05 pen valued at $100,000, his gaze drifting thoughtfully.
The scene from last night played through his mind like a scene from a movie.
"Yandong, would you like to come upstairs for a cup of tea?"
The woman extended the invitation as they stepped out of the car, her seductive peach blossom eyes gazing at him with such affection.
Her gaze was so tender it seemed it could drip with warmth.
"Okay." He surprised even himself with his response.
From the moment they stepped into the elevator, the atmosphere felt off.
She fixed her gaze on him, as if trying to melt him with her eyes.
He was not oblivious to the message in her gaze, but in that moment, he chose to feign ignorance.
Later, in the living room, it was unclear who made the first move.
It could have been her, or perhaps it was him.
Regardless, when her nimble tongue found its way into his mouth, he offered no resistance.
Their kiss was fiery with passion.
Her soft moans filled his ears, stoking a fierce desire within him.
It was the first time he had savored the taste of a woman's lips and tongue, and the first time he realized how potent his desires could be.
Eventually, she pushed him away abruptly, her mood shifting faster than a summer storm.
With an impassive face, she pushed him out the door.
"Yandong, see you tomorrow."
The door shut mercilessly behind her, leaving him standing outside, his blood boiling with frustration and no outlet for release.
It had been five years since he last had such a dream.
In it, there was a face that was both innocent and desirous.
The woman clung to his shoulders, whispering his name breathlessly, "Yandong."
He thought the name "Yandong" had never sounded so enchanting.
Upon waking, he found himself in disarray, standing by the bed like an awkward teenager, unsure of what to do next.
Finally, he hastily stripped the bedsheet and tossed it into the washing machine, hitting the automatic wash cycle.
From that point on, he kept a secret tucked away in a hidden corner.
"Mr. Bo." Qin Chuan entered with a file in hand, "All the information on the young madam is right here."
Bo Yandong snapped back to reality and began to scrutinize the documents.
After a while, he closed the file with a furrowed brow.
He had not anticipated that her past was so bleak.
She lost her mother at six and was sent to the countryside with a high fever at ten, where she nearly lost her life.
A kind-hearted villager found her and nursed her back to health. The first thing she did after recovering was to bring Gu Zhinan, whom Gu Tingchuan refused to acknowledge, to her side. They relied on each other for survival.
Life was hard, but she was fortunate to have learned many survival skills from her grandmother in the countryside.
At thirteen, Gu Zhinan fell seriously ill and needed surgery. Gu Zhiwei traveled alone for eighteen hours by train to return to the capital, hoping to ask Gu Tingchuan for money to treat her brother's illness.
However, Gu Tingchuan heartlessly threw her out of the house because Gu Zhiwei had frightened his and Lin Li's young son.
After being expelled from the Gu family, in her despair, she was kidnapped by human traffickers but managed to escape. When she got back to the countryside, she discovered that a kind soul had helped her brother and saved his life.
The rest of her story was rather ordinary.
Zhiwei completed high school in the countryside and, due to her excellent grades, Gu Tingchuan brought her back home, and she also brought Gu Zhinan to the capital.
Upon her return, Gu Tingchuan remained cold and distant, showing clear favoritism.
Gu Ruoshan was treated like a little princess, but not Gu Zhiwei.
Whatever Gu Ruoshan wanted, she got, but Gu Zhiwei was denied the same privileges. Yet, anything Gu Zhiwei had, Gu Ruoshan demanded for herself.
One can only imagine the struggles of an unfavored daughter in such a wealthy family.
"Mr. Bo, the young madam, she..." Qin Chuan sighed, "is truly a pitiful soul."
He now fully understood why the young madam was so defiant.
It was because the Gu family had wronged her.
Bo Yandong pinched his brow and gestured dismissively, "You may leave now."
"Yes."
"Wait." Bo Yandong handed him the documents, "Destroy these. No third party must learn of this."
Qin Chuan stood tall, his gaze resolute, "Understood! Your orders will be carried out!"
At 4 PM, Gu Zhiwei received a call from Lin Li.
"Zhiwei, today is Ruoshan's birthday. There's a banquet at the Jun Hao Hotel tonight. Make sure you're there."
Had Gu Zhiwei not personally witnessed Lin Li's duplicity, she might have fallen for her sweet talk.
Knowing Lin Li, it was highly unlikely she had any genuine intentions in inviting her to the banquet. There had to be an ulterior motive.
Gu Zhiwei's lips curled into a cold smile. "Rest assured, I'll be there."
And she planned to bring a gift they would never forget!
She ended the call with a chilling finality, her slender, pale fingers scrolling through her contacts until they stopped on Bo Yandong's name.
Pressing the call button, Gu Zhiwei felt a strange surge of pleasure. She lazily played with her hair as she moved towards the window.
"Hello?" came the deep, magnetic voice of a man from the other end.
Gu Zhiwei looked down, a faint smile on her lips. "Yandong."
Her voice was a tender murmur, light and enchanting enough to captivate the soul.
There was a brief silence on the line before he asked, "What's up?"
"Why haven't you come to pick me up?" Gu Zhiwei leaned against the windowsill, gazing out at the towering skyscraper in the distance.
