C3 She Was so Wild!

Gu Zhiwei was spot on.

Bo Yandong found himself in a predicament. Having an ally by his side was far preferable to someone who wasn't fully alert. A partner could help him handle his grandmother's demands and sidestep any unnecessary complications.

His grandmother had issued an ultimatum: he must marry within the year.

After all, she favored a daughter from the Gu family. Surely, the esteemed Miss Gu would be acceptable to her.

With that in mind...

Bo Yandong glanced at his watch. "It's five o'clock in the afternoon. We have half an hour before the Civil Affairs Bureau closes."

Gu Zhiwei suppressed the emotion in her gaze, her lips curving into a slight smile. "Mr. Bo, do you have your ID and household registration book ready?"

Five minutes later, outside Bo Manor.

Qin Chuan brought the Rolls-Royce Phantom to a halt at the entrance and respectfully addressed Bo Yandong, "Mr. Bo, your car is ready."

"Hold on!"

Gu Zhiwei caught Bo Yandong's sleeve, "We're in the middle of rush hour. You wouldn't want to get stuck in traffic and miss our window, would you?"

Bo Yandong frowned at her pale, slender fingers gripping his sleeve.

He was not fond of women invading his personal space.

Gu Zhiwei locked eyes with him, her smile widening, "Ready?"

Bo Yandong was taken aback. What was she up to now?

In an instant —

Gu Zhiwei seized Bo Yandong's wrist and dashed off in her ten-centimeter heels.

Nearby, a flashy Harley was parked at the curb.

She grabbed a helmet from the bike and tossed it to Bo Yandong. "It's five kilometers to the Civil Affairs Bureau, and driving there is a hassle. We'll take a shortcut!"

With that, she donned the other helmet and swung her leg over the motorcycle, exuding a cool and untamed air.

Bo Yandong's expression darkened.

The woman, dressed in an over-the-knee dress, looked carefree and wild. Her movements revealed glimpses of her snow-white thighs, stirring the imagination.

This woman truly lived up to the rumors of her licentiousness.

He remained silent for a few seconds, reining in the anger that was beginning to surge within him. Then he donned his helmet and took a seat behind her.

Gu Zhiwei cast a downward glance over her shoulder, a slow smile curling at her lips. "Mr. Bo, hold on tight!"

No sooner had she spoken than the Harley tore off like a streak of lightning.

Thrown backward by the force of acceleration, Bo Yandong instinctively tightened his grip around the woman's slender waist, his handsome features hardening in response.

She was clearly doing this on purpose!

...

At 5:30 PM, Gu Zhiwei and Bo Yandong emerged from the Civil Affairs Bureau, side by side.

They each held a marriage certificate, its red cover particularly striking.

"Congratulations, Mr. Bo, on your charming bride," someone said.

Gu Zhiwei's smile was exuberant as she brandished the certificate. "Here's to a long future together."

Bo Yandong's expression remained cool, his true emotions unreadable.

Gu Zhiwei's smile faded as she headed toward the Harley.

"Wait."

She paused, turning to look at him. "What is it?"

Bo Yandong's gaze was fixed ahead as he spoke gravely, "To the outside world, you and I are still strangers."

His marriage was merely a formality to satisfy his grandmother.

"I have no objections," Gu Zhiwei replied, her gaze falling to her skirt as it lifted and fell with the breeze.

After all, she had achieved her goal; whether or not they went public was of little consequence.

The summer heat was oppressive, but a sudden breeze brought some relief.

Her skirt fluttered in the wind, and her waist-length black hair billowed around her.

Turning back, Gu Zhiwei's face was a vision of delicate beauty, her captivating peach blossom eyes shining brightly against the dimming sky.
