It's really a fire.

I closed the skylight and went down and told the Scottish woman what I knew. I couldn't see her expression in the dark. Actually, I didn't need to tell her that there was smoke coming down from the window at the top of the door. She could see it as soon as I started a fire.

I don't know what to do. Close the elevator door and we'll be smothered to death..
