C19 Chapter 19

Chapter Nineteen : The Break-In at Warehouse 12

**Jay's House**

"Have you finished editing the CCTV footage?" I inquired as soon as I emerged from the kitchen, carrying two cups of coffee. I handed one to Mason, who placed it on the table next to his computer as he sat down. I joined him at the nearby chair.

"Yeah, the only thing visible now is their arrival in the parking area, how Rowen retrieved the package, and how he was mistreated by Pedro and Manuel, ultimately being left behind. The part where he re-entered the store for the second time is now absent from the footage," Mason replied after successfully editing the video. He took a sip of his coffee and leaned back in his chair.

"Excellent work. But there's still much to do. I've printed out all the documents Rowen sent," I said, handing over the files to Mason.

"As you can see, we've gathered all the information we need about Warehouses 12 and 14. However, our main focus should be on Warehouse 12. It's located on Briarwood Street and is controlled by Don Alfonso. I dug deeper into his background and found that he is the second son of the Rodriguez family, a family with a long history of involvement in drugs and illegal activities.

Their parents died in front of them when they were young, resisting arrest. The three brothers were sent to an orphanage, but their violent tendencies and bullying led to them being expelled. They faced hardships but stuck together, eventually finding their way into the drug world. It's a familiar story," I explained, letting the information sink in.

"You're right. Many criminals share a similar backstory of tough childhoods," Mason commented, shaking his head as he reflected on his own challenging upbringing.

"But that doesn't excuse their actions or the lives they've destroyed. They will have to pay for their crimes," I stated firmly, and Mason nodded in agreement.

"At first, I wondered why Vandel chose a location mostly covered in sand for Warehouse 12. Now I understand it's because of the fertile soil, used for growing coca leaves, one of the ingredients for producing cocaine. The materials they can't produce themselves are purchased. We have the location of both the warehouse and the drug farms, the names of their suppliers, the exchange times, and a detailed layout of the warehouse, along with the guards' shift schedule. Our goal is to not only take down Warehouse 11 but also disrupt their supply chain temporarily, affecting the drug production and, consequently, their finances," I explained, outlining our plan.

"It sounds like you already have a plan in mind," Mason noted as he proceeded to open the next file.

"Casa De Questo – isn't this the restaurant on Montero Street? What's it doing in the files?" Mason questioned, carefully reviewing the documents, trying to see if he'd missed something.

"Yes, it is. And that's how we're going to destroy Warehouse 12," I replied. Mason still appeared puzzled.

"Casa De Questo isn't an ordinary restaurant; it secretly supplies food to Warehouse 12. According to Rowen, they deliver food to the warehouse twice daily – in the morning for the day workers and in the evening for the night shift," I elaborated, providing a hint.

"Wait, so you mean we should tamper with their food supply?" Mason asked, finally grasping the concept.

"Yes, you're on the right track. But what we really need to do is intercept the meals before they reach the warehouse," I clarified. Mason now fully understood.

"But how can we be sure that the restaurant indeed supplies food to Warehouse 12?" Mason inquired.

"It's something we need to confirm firsthand. I'll closely monitor the restaurant to confirm its connection to the cartel. Once we verify it, we need to proceed with our plans immediately," I said, and Mason agreed.

**Later That Night**

**Jay's House**

As I entered the house, appearing exhausted, Mason was still busy at his computer.

"Oh my goodness, Jay, where have you been? You left early this morning without saying a word to me. I tried calling you, but you didn't pick up. I was getting worried and considered tracking your phone," Mason expressed his concern.

"Well, I couldn't wait any longer. I went to spy on Casa De Questo today, watching from a safe distance across the restaurant to see if there was anything suspicious. I waited until it was dark, but I didn't see anything. However, one of their vehicles left the parking lot, and the driver acted suspiciously. I decided to follow from a safe distance on my motorbike," I explained.

"We drove for a while until we arrived at the address Rowen provided for Warehouse 12. I found an elevated spot to observe from and witnessed two individuals unloading food from the truck and delivering it to the warehouse. After they finished, they headed back to the restaurant. I followed them there before returning home," I added, detailing the events.

"That's great; we've finally confirmed that Casa De Questo is the official food supplier for Warehouse 12. Now, we need a solid plan to infiltrate the warehouse. I've studied the map of the building Rowen provided. With this, we know the layout of the raw materials, the positions of the individuals within the building, and the guard shift schedules. We need a well-thought-out strategy," I said, concluding our discussion."From what you've said, it sounds like you already have a plan in mind," Mason observed as he continued to examine the files."Indeed, I do, but we'll need to prepare thoroughly, gather more information, and ensure every detail is in place before we move forward. We can't afford any mistakes," I affirmed, emphasizing the need for precision.

First, we had to navigate the labyrinthine streets surrounding the warehouse, filled with surveillance cameras and patrolling guards. Every step had to be calculated, every move strategic, to avoid detection.

Then came the obstacle of breaking into the heavily fortified warehouse itself. Mason and I had to outsmart state-of-the-art security systems, cracking codes and disabling alarms with precision. One wrong move could trigger an alarm and bring their mission crashing down.

We had to rely on their keen observation and problem-solving skills to uncover the truth amidst the darkness.

But the greatest challenge of all was the ruthless Don Alfonso and his henchmen. They were cunning and ruthless, always one step ahead. We had to outmaneuver them, using their wits and resourcefulness to stay one step ahead in this dangerous game.

As the night wore on, the tension grew, and the stakes became higher. Every minute counted, every decision crucial. But we were determined, fueled by their unwavering friendship and the desire to bring justice to the world.

With each challenge we overcame, we grew stronger and more resilient. We faced our fears head-on, never backing down.

The hard task and challenges ahead of us seemed insurmountable, but we were determine to prove that with determination and teamwork, anything is possible. Our story serves as a reminder that in the face of adversity, true strength and courage shine through.
