"You haven't slept yet?" Daniel inquired. "You need to rest. You haven't fully recovered."

"Grace," Emily uttered, her voice slightly trembling. "Forgive her behavior earlier."

"Which behavior of Grace's?" Daniel asked, his voice slightly strained. "The one where she said her father didn't keep his promise?"
