C11 Signing A Deal With The Devil

Charlotte was restless. She had been worried sick about Riele.

A knock was heard on the door and Charlotte rushed to open the door. She pulled Riele in as she shut the door. "Start talking". She commanded with her arms folded across her chest.

"After the outburst in his office, Jay offered to take me somewhere so we could talk".

"So you could talk?? About what?"

Riele remembered that they didn't even talk about the modeling stuff anymore. "um... about... um...". Charlotte was glaring at her friend with folded arms waiting for the lies to just leave Riele's mouth. "...He asked me to tutor him about modeling".

Charlotte looked at her friend trying to see if she was lying but Riele kept a straight face. So she believed her because she could tell when she was lying.

"Why didn't you pick up my call then?". She asked.

"I didn't know my phone rang. It was on silent". Riele explained.

"Do you know how worried I was? I thought something bad had happened to you or Maybe Jay kidnapped you and did something bad to you...I was having weird thoughts and you know how wild my imagination can get". Charlotte said as Riele giggled.

"I'm sorry". Riele apologized, hugging her friend.

They took a seat on the sofa as Charlotte became sad. "What's wrong?". Riele asked. "But I just told you I am sorry".

"It's not that". Charlotte said. "Riele, I need your help".

"Sure... Mention it. I'd do anything for you except to kill myself". Riele said as Charlotte chuckled. "What do you need?".

"I need to go for a check-up tomorrow...". She paused a little.

"OK?".

"But I can't go if Mr. handsome won't allow me".

"Why won't he allow you?".

"I can't tell him yet that I'm pregnant".

"Why not? Sooner or later, he's going to find out and everyone will find out, why are you keeping it a secret?".

"I don't know Riele. I just couldn't bring myself to tell him".

"OK fine. So what do you want me to do now? Talk to him on your behalf?". Riele asked.

"I need you to cover up for me at least till when I get back."

"Cover up for you?". Riele asked. Charlotte nodded. "Do you have any idea of what you're asking me to do?". She paused. "You're asking me to be his P.A till when you get back... Do you know that's a request I can't grant? I hate him so much to even breathe the same air as he not to talk of being with him in his office for a second...".

"Please Riele...Remember you told me if I need anything, I could always confide in you".

"Anything but this". Riele replied.

"Come on Riele". She said as she tickled her friend who was laughing uncontrollably.

"Stop....Please...". Riele said in between laughs as Charlotte stopped tickling her. "I'll help you but just this once. Next time you're going to the hospital, you're telling him the truth".

"Ok, I promise". Charlotte said as she came closer to hug her. "Thanks so much, Riele. You're a life-saver". Riele smiled.

"I'm doing this for the baby".

"I know godmother'. Charlotte said as they laughed.

Jungkook was having another drink when Madison walked in. She sat down next to him with her bag placed on the table. "Why didn't you pick up my calls?"

"No reason. I've called you now, have I not?".

"That's not the same thing Jay. You should have picked up my calls." She retorted

"Are you going to order up something or do you want to keep nagging?". Jay asked as he waved to the same waitress who came immediately to attend to him. Madison sunk in her chair feeling all moody and stuff.

The waitress was surprised to see another lady in front of him. "What would you like? The same ice americano like the other lady?". The waitress asked.

Madison looked at Jay, wondering what the waitress was talking about. What did she mean by 'the other lady'?

"I will have that". he looked at Madison. "What would you like?".

"Ice cream please." She requested as the waitress left to get their orders.

"You invited a lady here?". Madison asked. "So this wasn't for me?".

Jay knew Madison would leave if he didn't come up with something. "Yes, a friend came over to give me some things. She left immediately".

Madison didn't believe his words. "Really?". She asked raising her eyebrow in suspicion.

"Would I ever lie to you?". He asked.

"I'll just believe your words because you said it."

"Why are you acting this way? It's not like we are even dating or something".

"You have no plan of dating me?".

Jay laughed. "Are you kidding me?". He asked. "You're really funny. Your ice cream will soon be here... I think you need it to cool yourself down a bit". He laughed again.

"I see". Madison said.

The waitress walked up to them gave their orders them then left.

"Could it be there's someone else?". Madison asked.

"Someone....". Jay paused and smiled. "Just enjoy your ice cream". He said as he took his ice americano.

"If you don't want me, can you make me closer to Kim Chae Woon?".

Jay stopped drinking as he looked at her. He rested his back on the chair and folded his arms. "What exactly do you want young lady?". He asked.

"What does it look like I want?". She asked.

"I don't know because you seem confused. First, you want me and now you want my brother? who knows maybe if any member of the Diamond Boys comes, you'll want him too".

"As long as they are handsome and hot, I don't see why not".

Jay was busy wondering how Chae Woon would be able to handle someone like her.

"Bring me closer to Chae Woon and I'll help you with Riele".

Jay was shocked. "What do you mean?"

"You think I don't know you're interested in her?". She asked as she scoop a spoon of ice cream into her mouth licking her lips. "I also know that the lady that left here was Riele".

"If you knew, why did you bother asking?" Jay asked going back to his ice americano.

Madison shrugged. "Do we have a deal?".

"I don't need your help in winning a lady's heart. I have that charm already".

"It works on girls like us, not Riele. When it comes to Riele, you'll need more than that".

"How do you know?".

"I can't tell you unless you agree to help me".

"Fine. I'll help you but the decision isn't mine but Chae Woon's."

"Don't worry, all you need to do is say good things about me to him and I'll do the rest".

Jay thought about it for a while before nodding his head in agreement. "I'll do it".

Madison smiled. "It's nice doing business with you". She waved to the waiter to bring some desserts.
