C12 Chae Woon's First Love

Jay went home feeling a bit worried about the whole thing. He wasn't sure if he was making the right choice or the wrong one. He was still busy with his thoughts when Chae Woon appeared in front of him.

"What are you thinking about?." Chae Woon asked.

"uh?".

Chae Woon folded his arms while looking at Jay. Ignoring Chae Woon, he went to his room but Che Woon followed after him.

"Where have you been?".

"Out". He replied bluntly.

"To where and with whom?". Jay was confused.

"Since when do you become so engrossed in my life; what I do and where I go?" Jay asked.

"You went out with Riele, didn't you?"

"Are you interrogating me right now?". He looked at Chae Woon waiting for an answer but he was silent. "Daebak - Wow". Jay said in surprise as he tried to walk out on him but Chae Woon grabbed his hand and pulled him back.

Jay smiled. "You know, I'm starting to wonder if peradventure you have a thing or two for this girl".

"What are you saying?".

Jay shrugged.

"She is my assistant".

"Ex". Jay corrected.

"What?".

"She is your Ex-Assistant".

"She told you?".

Jay crossed his arms across his chest, staring intently at Chae Woon. "Why do I feel history is about to repeat itself?".

"What do you mean?" Chae Woon asked.

"This is the same way you acted with Ji Soon".

"Neo Michyesseo - Are you crazy?" Chae Woon got angry and he tried to hit Jay but Jay was fast enough to escape "Ya! Hey!" Jay laughed and stuck out his tongue at him.

"Chankahma! - wait a minute!" Jay said with a serious look on his face. "Who do you love most? Ji Soon or Riele?".

"Ya!!!". Chae Woon yelled again as he bounced on Jay, crushing him to the ground. "Moraggu? -What did you say?" Chae Woon asked as he playfully punched Jay on his shoulders.

"Get off me!!!". Jay said trying to push Chae Woon over but he sat down on his stomach like Jay's stomach was meant for his butt.

"Arasseo! Arasseo! Mianhae -Alright! Alright! I am sorry". Jay pleaded as he tried to suppress his laughter.

"Say it louder". requested Chae Woon before he tickled jay's foot. The poor boy begs and laughs at the same time.

"Mianhae". Jay manage to say and Chae Woon got up from his stomach.

"That's more like it". Chae Woon sighed relief. After some time, Jay and Chae Woon settled down to enjoy each other's company when Chae Woon asked, "So where did you guys go?".

Jay looked at him and laughed.

"What's funny?" Chae Woon wondered.

"You can't get your mind off it, can you?".

"I can".

"Really?". asked Jay with a smirk on his face.

"yeah".

"Then I won't tell you".

"Fine, don't tell me... I won't ask either".

Jay stood up. "Let's see how long it's going to take before curiosity kills the cat". He whispered as Chae Woon glared at him. Jay walked away but not without sticking out his tongue.

After Jay left, Chae Woon was in deep thoughts. Why am I bothered about her? why am I even curious? Maybe I just want to see her get into trouble. I'm probably just looking for faults. Yes...that should be it. He nodded after he was convinced by that thought. His mind went back to Ji Soon.

***Flashback***

Chae Woon's P.o.v

Ji Soon and I grew up in the same neighborhood- Busan. We attended the same school all through our lives. Our parents usually ship us together every time they see us together. I was secretly in love with her but I never got to confess my feelings to her.

I introduced her to my band members and they all seemed to like her. I told myself I would confess my feelings to her after graduation.

The day of the graduation came, and I waited for her outside the school gate. I saw her car drive right past me and it was obvious the driver was waiting for her. I saw her coming outside and I decided to give it a shot.

"Hi Ji Soon". I called as she came over to meet me with a smile.

"Chae Woon-ah...What are you doing here?". she asked as she signaled her driver to wait.

"Um... Ji soon-ah ... I need to talk to you". I said.

She gave me weird looks before signaling me to speak. "Saranghaeyo - I love you".

"Now - what?". she asked.

"Saranghaeyo - I love you".

"Ya!! Neo michyesseo?". She asked. I was stunned at her response. This isn't what I was expecting. "Despite how much I respect you, Chae Woon, I cannot accept your feelings for me. You shouldn't be in love with me. My heart already belongs to another and that's why I cannot accept your feelings for me."

"Who do you have feelings for then? Is he someone I know or a stranger I haven't met before?"

"It's none of your business who I am interested in and I do not want to talk about my love life. So if you don't mind, please excuse me." And she left me.

I was disappointed.

I tried my best not to get angry but every time I think about it, I can't help but get angry and sad. She was my first love. I neglected every other girl that came confessing their feelings to me because I was head over heels in love with her but she did this?

I took it upon myself to find out who she was interested in and it turned out it was Jay she was interested in. I couldn't tell if I was jealous or angry but I decided it was time to let go and I did.

Reality

Could it be that history was repeating itself? He shook his head. "I don't love her." he reassured himself. "I am just going to make sure I avoid her like a plague, that way if any feelings want to arise, it won't be able to 'cos I won't get to see her everyday.

Tomorrow, he would start avoiding her. He said to himself, unknown to him what fate had waiting for him.
