C13 Riele Gets Chae Woon's Attention

Chae Woon arrived at the company but was surprised when his assistant, Charlotte didn't attend to him. He went to her desk and he saw Riele busy with her laptop. "Where is Charlotte?" He asked.

"She isn't feeling too well, so she decided to take the day off."

"Why didn't she tell me that?"

"She did but you refused."

"No, she told me she needs a day off and when I asked why she didn't reply."

"I don't blame her if she didn't tell you."

"Excuse me."

Riele gave him a fake smile and said, "If there is anything you'd like me to help you with, don't hesitate to ask me."

Chae Woon ignored her and left. Riele didn't understand how she could hate someone in just a couple of days. She went back to her laptop when she noticed a figure staring at her. She looked up and saw it was Jay with his bunny smile standing in front of her. Riele couldn't help but smile back.

"Sorry I left quite early, it was urgent."

"I know," Jay replied. He looked and was surprised to see Charlotte's seat was empty. "She didn't come?"

"Yeah. She is sick and that's why she took the day off."

"And Chae Woon agreed to that?"

"He didn't but I have explained things to him. Her health is more important, don't you think?"

Jay nodded. "I will take care of my health before thinking about my wealth."

"Exactly."

After a few moments of silence, Jay asked, "Are you free after the shoot? I still need those modeling tutoring."

Riele looked up at him and smiled. "Yeah, sure."

"Great! I will see you later?"

Riele nodded.

Jay left to get ready for his shoot while Riele continued with her laptop. She heard footsteps coming in her direction. She didn't look up and said, "You are going to put me in trouble if you keep appearing in front of me like that." when she didn't get a reply, she looked up and saw it was Chae Woon. She didn't know what to do or say.

"Was someone here?" he asked.

"no, I was just talking to myself." Riele lied.

Chae Woon ignored her. He threw her some files which she caught well. "Give these to Charlotte, tell her I need them tomorrow."

Riele was angry. What part of she's sick doesn't he understand? She tried to calm her nerves before exploding with words she couldn't take off. "Just tell me what I need to do and I will do them."

"Give them to Charlotte." was the order before he left for his office.

"Give them to Charlotte." she mimicked his voice. There was no way she'd ever be friends with him. She can't even see their paths blending in and she wished it doesn't. He was slowly becoming a thorn in her flesh. "Before you drive me crazy, I will make sure you go nuts first."

Just a few minutes after she got back to finish what she was doing on the laptop, Madison walked up to her. "Hey." she tapped her desk to get her attention.

"Hi, Maddy." Riele greeted.

"Is he in a good mood or a bad mood?" she asked. Riele looked at her in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"Chae Woon. Is he in a bad or good mood?"

"Has he ever been in a good mood?" Riele asked.

"Well, how do I look?" she turned around so Riele can get a good look at her.

Madison had a beautiful and sexy body so she told her she looked good. "Why are you asking? Are you going somewhere after the shoot?"

Madison smiled and gestured for her to come closer and she whispered into her ears. Riele burst into laughter after Madison was done. "Are you crazy? I doubt he is even going to notice you."

"With a body like mine? Believe me, he's going to crush on me."

Riele tried her best to hold her laughter. "Good luck. I think you will need it."

Madison blew her a kiss before leaving to go to Chae Woon's office.

"Is this girl for real?" Riele wondered.

Chae Woon was busy with the paperwork on his table when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in," he answered without glancing to see who it was.

"Um, the photographer said he is ready and the site is set for the shoots."

Finally, he looked at her and went back to his paperwork. "Tell him, to get started and I will be there soon."

Madison couldn't believe Chae Woon just stared at her and looked away. Wasn't she beautiful enough to keep him starting for a long time?

Chae Woon noticed she was still standing there. He looked at her and asked, "Is there something else?"

What kind of girls are you attracted to? How can I get you to fall in love with me? So many questions were raging through her head but she wasn't bold enough to ask so she shook her head. "I will let the photographer know." She took her to leave.

Chae Woon knew exactly what she was doing but he wasn't interested in her. She is beautiful he must admit but a girl that throws herself on a guy wouldn't make a good girlfriend or wife. Satisfied with that thought, he got up and left to meet them. On his way to the site, he saw Riele still sitting by her desk. She was engrossed in what she was doing that she didn't notice him staring at her.

He studied her features. Riele wasn't as beautiful as Madison but she had her charm. He got so lost while staring at her and when she looked up at him, he looked away like he just remembered something. Riele could tell he was staring at her but she didn't know why.

Is there something on my face? She brought out her mirror and when she looked into it, she saw nothing. Madison told her the plan to get him to notice her didn't work. But why was he staring at her?

"I..." they both said as they looked at each other. To give respect to him as her boss, she waited for him to say whatever he had to say. "I want you at the site now."

"I will be right there, I just need to fin..."

"I said, now. You can stop whatever it is you are doing and go to the site." Without waiting for her response, he left.

Riele rolled her eyes at him. She followed after him to the site. She was greeted by Jay's bunny smile. Chae Woon noticed and when he looked at her, he saw her smiling and waving at him. How did they become this close?

"I need you to stick with me all through the shoots. You can't go anywhere without my permission, understood?"

"No. I am not your assistant and I have to take care of the models."

Chae Woon gestured for Ashley to come and the young girl came running to meet him. "You will be in charge of the models today." Ashley nodded then left. He turned to look at Riele who couldn't believe what had just happened. "Anything else?" Riele was about to complain but then no words were coming out. "I will take that as a no, now follow me."

Riele sighed in defeat. Why can't I win against him? She thought. Why does he always have the final say I'm her life? Is he finding it enjoyable whenever he makes her feel so vulnerable? She asked herself.

She looked up in the direction he went and she walked sluggishly to meet him.
