C14 It Was An Accident

The site was decorated with flowers and balloons, it looked like a wedding ceremony just that the couples weren't dressed in their wedding attires. They wore a touch of red and white dresses making it look like it was valentine's day. Riele couldn't deny that Jay and Madison looked good together. She didn't understand why Madison would be interested in getting Chae Woon when Jay was right there in front of her.

She figured that she was spending more time thinking than focusing so she cleared her head and focused more on the shoot.

"The next pose, I want you guys to look at each other and pretend like you want to kiss each other." The photographer directed.

Jay glanced a little at Riele and when she caught sight of him, she wondered why he was glancing at her. "Jay, I need you to concentrate, look at your partner and try to kiss her."

It's just a pretending kiss, it's not like you are even going to kiss her. Jay said to himself as he did the pose and when the photographer took the picture, Madison used that opportunity to kiss him. Jay's eyes widened in shock.

"Nice one, Madison." the photographer praised her.

Jay didn't know whether to be angry or not. When the photographer was discussing with Chae Woon about the next shoot, Jay pulled Madison to a corner. "What was that for?"

"That's to make Chae Woon jealous and to make Riele jealous."

"Shouldn't you have discussed it with me first?"

"If I did, would you agree to it?" His silence gave him away. "That's exactly why I didn't tell you the photographer said it was a nice shot." she winked at him before leaving.

Jay wasn't liking the fact that she was using him to get Chae Woon but this was all part of the deal. If it works then he can get Riele, it's worth sacrificing his lips for.

"Jay, we need you on the set now." She heard Riele's voice say. A smile crossed his lips when he saw her gesturing for him to come over. He ran happily to meet her. "That girl over there..." She pointed to Ashley. "...is in charge of you today."

"Wait, what?"

"Yes."

"Chae Woon said this?"

Riele nodded. "Tell me why I shouldn't hate him."

"Riele." They heard Chae Woon call.

"I have to go. We will meet after the shoot?"

"Yeah."

Riele wave at him and went to meet Chae Woon. "What part of stick with me don't you understand?" he asked but she kept silent.

"Riele, I need your help with something." one of the site's directors, Chester said.

"Is there a problem?" Chae Woon asked.

"Not a problem. I just need her to try something out. It's based on the site where they'll be taking the next shoot."

Chae Woon looked at her while she waited for his permission. "Fine. I need you back here immediately."

Riele rolled his eyes at him when he wasn't watching and left. "What do you need me to do?" She asked Chester.

"We are trying to figure out if the lightning is perfect for the shoot but we need someone to be there."

Riele nodded.

They got to the site. It had this basketball setting and it looked great.

"She's here," Chester told them.

"Good!" the director, Kentucky said as he directed Riele on what to do.

Riele got to the site while those in charge of the lighting did their stuff. The photographer took the shots and they turned out great. "I need you to go closer and try to score."

"I don't play basketball."

"That's why I need you to go closer." Kentucky and his team laughed.

She took a ball and as she threw the ball, she scored. The photographer made sure to capture the moment. Riele screamed and shouted in Jubilation when something unfortunate happened.

"Riele, get out of there!" was the last thing she heard when she was knocked down by the basketball's net pole. Everyone rushed to meet her in panic.

They took the net stand away from her body and placed her on the chair. "Go and get Chae Woon," Kentucky told Chester who ran as fast as his legs could carry him to meet the boss.

"Is the site ready?" Chae Woon asked. He looked around for Riele but he couldn't see her. "Where's she?"

"There was an accident and she is in grave danger."

Chae Woon didn't wait to hear his explanation. He ran to the site.

Jay saw it and ran after them too even though he had no idea what it was about. He could tell something terrible must have happened for Chae Woon to run like that.

They arrived at the scene only to find Riele lying unconsciously on the chair. Jay rushed to meet her. "Riele," he called. "How the hell did you let this happen to her?"

"It was an accident," Chester explained.

Jay was about to carry it when Chae Woon came to meet him. "The shoot must go on," he told him and carried Riele from Jay.

"But..."

"I will take care of her." He turned to face Kentucky. "Fix whatever that needs to be fixed and let the shoots go on."

Jay was so angry that he thought of not doing the shoot but he knew how important it was that they take the shots. "Can we just get this over with?" he told the director and the photographer.

Chae Woon carried Riele to his car and placed her gently in the back seat. He started the engine and zoomed off to the hospital.

He forgot the fact that he was famous and went into the hospital without a facemask and a cap. Everyone in the hospital who knew him rushed to meet him.

He didn't have time to reply to anyone because he had someone who was almost dying in his arms. He got inside the hospital and the nurses came to attend to him. "Put her in one of the best rooms and do all you need to do to save her," he told the doctor that was in charge of Riele.

"You have to deposit the sum of fifty dollars." one of the assistants sitting at the front desk said.

He deposited the money and sat down to wait for the doctor's report. He didn't know why he felt scared. When Chester came to tell him the news, nothing else mattered at that moment. Even when Jay tried to take her, he couldn't bear it.

Could it be that he was feeling guilty about it? If he didn't take her duty to take care of the models this wouldn't have happened or could there be something else?
