C16 Charlotte Reveals The Truth

Charlotte decided to stay with Riele at her house for the rest of the week and then they will go to work together on Monday and from there, she will go to her house. "Harry," Charlotte called.

"Riele, Charlotte." he ran to hug them when he noticed his sister wasn't feeling too well. "What happened?"

"There was a minor injury," Charlotte explained. "Go and prepare a warm bath for her, I think she needs to soak herself in there for a long time."

Riele gave her a funny look which she understood. "You don't have to be so dramatic about it."

Charlotte smiled. "Take your time. I will prepare us something to eat."

Riele nodded and went to the bathroom. She wasn't liking the way she was smelling. The smell of the drugs and injections was sickening.

"I'd like fried noodles and egg omelet" Harry danced around with a smile on his face.

"Ok. I will prepare that for everyone. Get the noodles and eggs." Harry happily left to get them.

Harry arrived with the noodles and eggs and gave them to her. She boiled the water and waited for it to heat before adding the noodles. Just when she was about to add the ingredients, a knock was heard at the door.

"Are you expecting anyone?" Charlotte asked Harry but he shook his head.

"You?" Charlotte shook her head. He went closer to the bathroom that Riele is in to ask her but she said she wasn't expecting anyone.

Everyone was shocked when the knock continued. Charlotte grabbed a mop and told Harry to watch the noodles while she gets the door. She moved closer and asked, "Who are you?"

"Charlotte, it's Jay." she heard the voice say.

Jay? She wondered. What's he doing here? She dropped the mop and opened the door only for her to see Jay and Chae Woon standing in front of her.

"I had no idea you were with Chae Woon."

"Aren't you going to ask us in?" Jay asked.

"My bad. Please do come in." She opened the door wide for them to come in and shuts the door after them.

The smell of something burning made Charlotte rush into the kitchen. She saw Harry covering his nose while trying to put the pot down. "Jesus Christ! Harry, what did you do?" She puts down the pot and quickly adds water to pot to reduce the hotness. "I told you to watch it."

"I did."

"So how come the kitchen is on fire?"

"it's not on fire, Charlotte, stop exaggerating."

Charlotte gave him a stern look before moving out of the kitchen to meet the guys. "I am so sorry about that. Riele's brother almost burnt down the kitchen.

"It's fine. Where is Riele?" Jay asked.

"She should be down soon," Charlotte replied. "Please have a sit." She gestured for them to sit on the chair in front of them. "I was going to make fried noodles and egg omelet but Harry ruined it, so is it okay if I order pizza for everyone?"

"Sure. The bill is on me." Jay answered.

Chase Woon was quiet. He didn't say a word and Charlotte wondered why.

"Harry, call the pizza guy to bring two pepperoni pizzas. Is that okay for everyone?" Charlotte asked.

"I am good with anything, and you?" Jay asked Chae Woon.

Chase Woon nodded.

Harry ran upstairs to call the pizza guy.

Jay and Charlotte were chatting. They were talking about the shoots and everything when they heard a voice say, "Who was at the door?"

Jay and Chae Woon looked up and they saw Riele with a towel tied around her body and one tied on her head. Riele's eyes opened in shock when she saw the two of them.

Charlotte tried to hide her excitement but she couldn't. Riele knew her best friend so well, so she glared at her. "I was going to tell you but..."

Riele didn't wait for Charlotte to finish, she ran up the stairs. Chae Woon couldn't get his mind off what he had just seen. Jay was laughing with Charlotte. "Did you see her reaction?" Jay asked while Charlotte laughed. "She's beautiful, I can't wait to make her mine."

Charlotte glanced at Chae Woon when Jay wasn't watching to see his reaction. She could tell Chae Woon likes Riele but she could not tell how much. His expression was emotionless so she couldn't tell if he was happy or sad about it.

A knock was heard on the door. "Must be the pizza guy." Charlotte stood up to get to the door.

"Two pepperoni pizza?" the pizza guy asked.

"Yes." Charlotte grabbed the pizza and Jay paid him. "Thanks, Jake."

"Anytime, sunshine." Jake, the pizza guy winked at her before leaving.

"Harry, come down and have some pizza."

Harry ran downstairs and greeted the two guys before going back upstairs.

"I see Riele in him," Jay said while watching the boy run upstairs.

Riele came down with a blue short gown on and her hair was let down to dry. She sat down next to Chae Woon because that was the only free seat. "I am so sorry. I didn't know you..."

"You don't need to apologize. It's your house, you can do whatever you want." Jay said but Riele could tell he was being sarcastic.

She glanced at Chae Woon who was looking at her with worry written all over his face. "Are you okay?" the softness and care she heard from his voice made her turn to look at him.

Did he just ask that? Riele asked herself. "I am fine, thanks for asking," she answered before turning to grab a slice of the pizza. "Jay, thanks for bringing me to the hospital and watching over me too. I appreciate it."

Jay paused. He dropped back the pizza he took into the box. "What are you..." before he could say anymore, Charlotte pinched him and gestured him to look at Chae Woon who signaled him to agree that he was the one who brought her.

"Charlotte told me and I can't tell how grateful I am."

"Um, it's fine. Anything for you, Riele."

She turned to face Chae Woon and said, "Although you left me there to suffer and didn't bother checking up on me..." Chae Woon almost choked when he heard it but waited to hear what he had to say. "...thanks for giving me the rest of the week off."

Charlotte's mouth was left agape.

"I would have done the same for someone else." Chae Woon answered and everywhere grew silent.

The silence became a thorn in Charlotte's flesh so she had to break it. "Since we are all gathered here, there's something I would like to share." Everyone's attention turned to her. "I am pregnant."

Everyone choked including Riele because she didn't think she would ever spill out the truth this way.
