C20 Jay Plans To Confess His Feelings To Riele

The following day, Riele got dressed for work. She left early to avoid Charlotte from stopping her. It was seven in the morning, the weather was chilly. She ran back inside to get her scarf, gloves, and coat then she headed for the road.

She boarded a taxi that took her to her office. Arriving there, she met someone she never expected, Kim Utter. What the hell is he doing here? She asked herself. Just as she was about to walk to him, he entered the office, straight to the elevator. Riele had to wait till the elevator was ready for use. After some time, she got in and it took her to the third floor where her office is.

Jay was the first to see her so he ran to approach her. "What are you doing here? Chae Woon said you should stay home. Why did you come to work?"

"I am scared he is going to deduct my salary. I don't trust him a bit."

Jay noticed she was restless like she was searching for something. "Are you looking for something?" He asked.

"Did you happen to see which way Kim Utter went?" Riele asked him.

"The father of Char..." Riele quickly covered his mouth to shush him from saying it out.

"It's supposed to be a secret," she whispered to him.

"Oh sorry!" he said when Riele removed her hand from his mouth. "Did you see him here?" Jay asked.

Riele nodded. "I was following him but I lost sight of him."

"Do you plan on telling him the truth?"

She shook her head. "That's not my story to tell. I just want to find out why he is here."

"Could he be in Chae Woon's office?" Jay asked.

Riele thought about it for a second and she felt there could be a possibility that he is right. "I will go and see for myself." she was about to leave when Jay held her hand. She turned to look at him and she noticed that he had a sad countenance. "What's wrong?"

"I was thinking if I can take you out after work..." he paused. Riele took that moment to stare at him and she could tell he was a bit shy which she found really sweet.

"I will go out with you. Is this a date?" she asked him. "The last time, you said it wasn't."

Jay smiled. "I want it to be a date."

Riele smiled and nodded. "I will see you after work then." He finally let go of her hand and watch her leave.

I am going to tell her how I feel today. I can no longer keep it in anymore. I fear if I don't confess my feelings to her, I'd hate myself for not speaking up. Who knows, she might feel the same. He thought before going back to his seat.

"Have you gotten your way with her yet?" he heard a voice ask and when he turned, he saw Madison.

"Uh?" he asked pretending not to hear her.

"Has she agreed to date you?"

"Um... I am just taking her out."

"Why don't you use this moment to get her?"

Jay was confused. "What do you mean by getting her?" Madison whispered some words to him. Jay gave her a questioning look. "I'll do no such thing," he told her.

"Okay then." she walked away from him.

Jay gave her another glance wondering where such a girl came from with that kind of mentality. It was today he knew the kind of person she is. Suggesting such a stupid idea to him proves she might have done the same to some guys she was involved in.

"This is going to be a smooth and nice date," he assured himself.

"I would like to come back and work for the company." Kim Utter said.

Chae Woon glanced at him before going back to the files on his desk. "And why should I accept you back here?" he asked without taking a look at him.

"You and I know you need me." he told Chae Woon and this made him stop what he was reading.

"Really? Why do you think so?" Chae Woon asked while resting his chin on his hands with his full attention on him.

"I am the star of this company."

"You were." Chae Woon answered.

"What?" Kim asked.

Chae Woon stood up and went to meet him. "You were once a star of this company." He repeated the words again this time, looking at him straight into his eyes and telling it to him. "I had interest in making you a star but then the police called me and told me about your nonchalant attitude at Oak. I would be stupid to accept you back after the report I got." He told him.

Kim was shocked to hear it. "I..."

"There's no need to explain. I have gotten myself another model, you can try somewhere else." he went back to his seat.

"What then can I do for you?" he asked.

"How about you getting out of my face?" Chae Woon told him with a stern look on his face.

Kim was angry. "No one has ever treated me like this, not even Mr. Owen. I will make sure you regret your action towards me." He left the office angrily.

Chae Woon rubbed his temple with his hands. He wasn't expecting the headache he just received.

Kim bumped into Riele and the mood she saw him in told her that things didn't go well but immediately Kim knew she noticed his mood, he quickly brightened up his mood. "Hi love," he tried to touch Riele but she moved away from him.

"What do you want?" she asked him in fury.

"Still hate me?"

"Why are you here?"

Kim decided to let it go. He kept his hands behind his back and answered her question, "I came back to work here."

Riele's eyes opened in shock. "What?"

"Yeah, you can go in and ask him yourself." Riele didn't wait to hear what he has to say, she ran to meet Chae Woon in his office.

Kim left the company with a smirk on his face.

Riele badged into Chae Woon's office and it was a good thing there was no one else in there. She locked the door and walked up to him.

Chae Woon was shocked to see her. "What are you doing here? I thought I told you to stay in."

"I knew you were arrogant, thoughtless, heartless but I didn't know it was to this extent." her voice sounded so angry that Chae Woon had to stop what he was doing to listen to her.

"What are you clamoring about?" he asked trying his best to ignore the headache he was feeling. Dealing with Kim Utter was enough now Riele? He thought.

"How could you let Kim work with us when you know the story behind him and Charlotte? You know he is a player and all he cares about is..."

Chae Woon shushed her with his finger. "You don't dictate to me what to do."

"but..."

"I am not finished." he cuts in. He stood up to meet her and stood in front of her. "I am the only one that decides who stays or leaves and I don't owe anyone any explanation, not even you." he pointed at her.

Riele was already fuming inside and these words felt like knives being stabbed at her back. Her hatred for him has increased from forty-nine percent to one hundred percent. She loathes him and despises him now more than ever.

"If you are not careful, you will be the one to leave," he told her. Riele couldn't stop her tears from rolling down her cheeks. Chae Woon saw it and even though he was touched he chose to ignore it and went back to his seat. "If that is all, you can leave."

Riele took a minute to regain her composure. She turned to face him and she said to him, "I hate you."

"Same goes for me," he answered her and she left but on her way out, she met with Jay and when Jay tried to stop her and talk to her, she jerked her hand away from his and ran out.

Jay came to meet Chae Woon but before he could ask the questions, Chae Woon explained everything to him.

"Why didn't you just tell her the truth?"

Chae Woon shrugged. "Maybe I love seeing her angry?" he answered. "Can we just forget about her and talk about the shoot?"

Jay nodded as he sat down for them to discuss the shoot and other stuff. After he was done and ready to leave, he told Chae Woon he was taking Riele out on a date.

Chae Woon was shocked. "She agreed?"

"Yes. I think I will confess my feelings to her today."

"Good luck." he wished him before going back to his files.

After Jay left, Chae Woon thought about it. He didn't know why he was bothered about it. Hearing Jay says he was taking her out, made him sad and he couldn't tell why. He ignored the feeling and concentrated on his work
