C13 Vacation

"Your dad and I are headed to Vietnam this Friday for a conference," my mother-in-law muttered as we enjoyed a snack.

"And I was thinking that you two should join us... What do you think?"

That would be the next day.

I turned to look at Ivan, who responded with a nonchalant shrug. When he noticed my gaze, he raised an inquisitive eyebrow.

"Do you want to go?" I asked
