C4 The Apology

Damien was in his office contemplating on the last incident he had with his family. He could not empty his mind from the threats he got from his own daughter. He sat in his beautifully furnished office and lost himself in thoughts.

"I got her enrolled in one of the best schools in town where elites like me enroll their children. Of course she should be very smart and clever. But she's being too smart for my liking. It would be mandatory to cut off her wings since she grew them prematurely ", he blurted out restlessly. On a second thought, he added, 'what am I even saying? What can I do to her? She's my child". On a second thought, he exclaimed, "I think I know what to do! Baby girl, I'll beat you at your own game! ". He stood up and danced sheepishly, humming a country song.

He could not wait for the company to dismiss for the day so he dialed his secretary. He gave her several instructions before excusing himself from work. Like a mad driver, he drove straight home and on getting to the front of his gate, he hooted his horn endlessly. "where is that moron? ", he wandered. He kept hooting his horn but all to no avail. Then he parked his car and made his way through the small entrance which was unlocked. On getting in, he saw Dapo, sleeping and snoring like a fattened bear. He gave him a dirty slap and he woke up with a shout,

"sango mi o! "

"I can't believe that I pay you monthly for nothing. Do you know how many times I horned in front of that gate!"

"oga no vex I beg "

Damien hissed and went out to drive his car in. Dapo hurriedly opened the gate and he drove in. He walked into the living room and saw Diana sitting on the sofa, watching movies. Diana turned, looked at him and fixed her gaze back at the screen. . He walked up and knelt down with a bunch of rose flower he bought on his way back.

" to err is human but to forgive is divine. Sweetheart I'm deeply sorry. Please forgive me. I don't know what came over me" he begged.

Diana began to sob uncontrollably. " what wrong have I committed ", she asked.

Nothing honey and like I said I didn't know what came over me please. You know I've missed you.

Damian begged and bent down his head waiting to be pardoned. Diana shook her head in acceptance of the apology.

" nothing is above God's ability. I know that he will surely intervene for me. Come on, stand up", said Diana and tried to help him up. He smiled, Rose up and said, " we should drink to this. You have made my night, frankly"

he went into a and brought out a bottle of wine 2 champagne flutes on the centre table and kept them on the side chair behind poured out the drink and they talked over the drinks.

" please help me. I don't know how to tell Lily how sorry I am",Damien said

"It's ok. I will tell her. Besides she will understand", she returned. He began to fondle and kiss her in the style of a typical lover boy. Diana admired his never -changing well built body. His six packs still looking very sexy after all these years. The fact he always work out in the gym did a great job. His handsomeness was still as fresh as her beauty.

He carried her into their room, got her naked and passionately made love to her. She couldn't help screaming her pleasure. He was like a sex machine.

that night, Diana went to Lily and asked her to forgive her dad. Lily got surprised.

" he asked for your forgiveness?" she slightly stammered.

"yes, he's truly sorry my dear. Do forgive him too."

diana stared at her endlessly before replying, " yes"
