C13 I Fell in Love with Qin Liang but I Don't Love You Anymore!

Outside the base's gate, Su Ke and Xiaoxiao were still waiting for their ride. They had decided to leave suddenly, and the driver was still on the way.

"I'll have Coco talk to the director about your scenes," Hsiang Sibai said, appearing beside them at some point.

"Don't be stubborn. Go back and finish filming," he instructed Su Ke, his tone as commanding as ever.

"No way," Su Ke replied firmly. "I’ve never been treated so unfairly."

Hsiang Sibai chuckled softly, a hint of affection in his voice. "You’re spoiled."

Feeling uncomfortable with the atmosphere he was creating, Su Ke shifted away, even nudging Xiaoxiao to the other side of the pillar.

Watching her childish move, Hsiang Sibai pulled her back. His cool fingertips wrapped around her wrist, sending a chill up her arm. She shook her hand vigorously, trying to break free.

"Young Master Hsiang, getting handsy with another woman when you're engaged isn’t a good look," she remarked.

At the mention of the word "engaged," Su Ke felt Hsiang Sibai's grip tighten momentarily, and she took the chance to pull away.

Not wanting to waste more time, she urged Xiaoxiao to call the driver again.

"I'm not engaged," Su Ke heard Hsiang Sibai sigh and say quietly.

A brief silence fell, and Su Ke wanted to walk away, but her unresolved feelings pushed her to ask.

“Why?” Su Ke asked, a hint of bitterness in her voice. “Weren’t you willing to end my pregnancy just to be with Miss Shen? Didn’t you love her so much that you kept a stand-in by your side for three years?”

Her calm voice, devoid of any shouting, cut deeper into Hsiang Sibai’s heart.

Why?

Hsiang Sibai didn’t know why either. The engagement was arranged by their families, and he hadn’t cared much. Yet, after Su Ke left the party, he inexplicably stopped the proceedings.

This decision angered the Shen family and earned him a stern reprimand from his father. Still, Hsiang Sibai felt no regret. He only regretted not pulling Su Ke back when she left with Qin Liang without a backward glance.

He pulled out a cigarette, intending to smoke, but refrained, merely fiddling with it, mindful of Su Ke’s presence.

“I never said I wanted to get engaged to Shen Siyi,” Hsiang Sibai stated.

Su Ke laughed, finding it all ironic. The irony was on her, and on Hsiang Sibai too.

“Hsiang Sibai, my child is gone,” Su Ke said, trying hard to mask her emotions, unaware that her trembling body betrayed her sorrow.

"So, I hope you understand."

Su Ke looked up, meeting Hsiang Sibai's eyes. There was no trace of affection left, only resentment.

"In this life, whether you marry Siyi or get engaged to someone else, it doesn't concern me anymore."

"Do you understand?"

Hsiang Sibai was speechless, his throat dry as if he'd been smoking all night. He never imagined Su Ke could be so heartless.

"Is it because of him?" Hsiang Sibai's voice was hoarse.

"Who?"

"Qin Liang."

Su Ke raised an eyebrow; Hsiang Sibai had indeed misunderstood her relationship with Qin Liang. Well, let him continue to misunderstand.

Su Ke's tone was filled with a sense of vengeful satisfaction—

"Yeah, it's because of him."

"I've fallen for Qin Liang. I don't love you anymore."
