C4 Hsiang Sibai Is Getting Engaged!!

Hearing the name "Shen," Su Ke's heart skipped a beat. She hesitated for a moment, but the words "I'm not going" never left her lips. "If it were me, I would have run away too. I was just an adopted child; she didn't have to take me along."

"I'm grateful she's willing to take me in now," Su Ke added with a smile to Qin Liang, her tone carrying a sense of worldly acceptance.

Suddenly, a shadow fell over her, and Qin Liang's warm fingers brushed against her cheek. Su Ke felt someone ruffle her hair, and the scent of minty body wash filled her nose, just like Qin Liang.

"Silly girl, you deserve the best this world has to offer," Qin Liang said to her.

Su Ke laughed but didn't respond. Seeing this, Qin Liang didn't disturb her further, wished her goodnight, and left.
