C10 The Announcement

Addison POV

After reaching home I tucked Noel to bed.

I went to my room, changed my clothes and started to check my Instagram account.

I had so many DMs from my friends regarding the tag.

I was tagged in Sarah's pics which captioned dinner with my sister-in-law.

All my friends were too angry as I didn't inform them about my marriage. I decided to tell everyone about it tomorrow.

The next day when I woke up I saw Noel was sleeping beside me, I think he woke up in the middle of the night. So I kissed him on his forehead. I brushed my teeth and then I began to make breakfast.

I made noel's favorite pancakes and he came running from his room and began to hug me with his small little hands.

"Good morning Addi, I had fun last night Sarah auntie was so sweet, I liked her," he said.

"That's good sweetheart and you also behaved like a good boy so I made your favorite pancakes come and sit here and have your pancakes till then I'll get ready for work ok sweetheart". I replied.

I wore a beautiful yellow dress with a brown belt, I put on my chain which my mother had gifted me. I then had breakfast, packed Noel's bag as Auntie Maddie was going to take him to the water park. Left him in Auntie Maddie's house caught a cab and reached my office.

When I reached there I saw that Christof was waiting for me outside the gate.

He then approached me and said, "today we are going to announce in the office about our marriage so you need to come along with me inside it would give a good impression".

We then entered the office together all were just standing and staring at me in confusion as Christof was holding my hands.

Christof then called everyone as he wanted to make an important announcement.

"Next month I and Addison are getting married and I would like you guys to join us on our big day all of you are invited".

Everyone's expression changed as they were shocked to hear this news but in the crowd, Anna was not present. I tried to search for her in the crowd but she was nowhere to be seen.

I then told Christof that I had something important to do so let myself out in search of Anna. When I reached my office garden I saw that Anna was with Jared.

Jared had pushed himself over Anna and they were making out.

Jared and Anna were so busy kissing that they didn't notice that I was watching them.

I was furious and angry, my best friend didn't bother to tell me that she was dating Jared and when did all of this happen.

I then started to give another thought that I was so busy in this drama of Christof that I didn't even speak to Anna much these days as I was too stressed in my personal life.

I then approached my cabin, opened the door and entered inside, to my surprise Christof was sitting there waiting for me.

Anna POV

I was going to tell Addison about my relationship with Jared, but Addison always screw up things, last night I saw that Addison was tagged by Christof sister captioned "my sister in law",

Addison was going to marry Christof!!!, The guy she hated, she didn't tell me anything about him, how could she do this to me, I am her best friend.

I knew Addison hid things from me but she hid her marriage, I was furious of her.

I changed my mind that I would not tell Addison anything about my relationship with Jared, she didn't deserve to know any of this.

When I reached office I saw that every employee in the office was gossiping about Addison and Christof.

Everyone in our office follows Addison on Facebook and Instagram, so they were aware of the post in which she was tagged in.

They were commenting on how lucky she is that she is going to marry the CEO.

Addison is lucky all the time, she always gets the best.

I took my seat in the office, and began to resume my pending work.

Jared arrived early today, not along with our CEO, usually he arrives with Christof.

He approached me,

"Heyy hie Anna, I was wondering if you were free?", He asked.

"No I am not, Jared, j have loads of work today, I need to complete my work which is assigned for me", I said.

"You need any help?, If you do need any help I am always there here for you", he said.

"No Jared I don't need any help you can continue your work", I replied.

Jared was leaving, I caught his hand and stopped him.

"Hey I was wondering if you knew anything about Addison and Christof, I mean their relationship.

I saw the tag yesterday,is it true or some prank?", I asked him.

"No no it's not a prank they are getting married, maybe next month Christof didn't tell me anything about this he kept a secret from him, he will explain everything later, did Addison tell you anything", he asked.

"Actually Jared we both are riding on the same boat, our best friends are keeping secrets from us", I replied.

"Oh Addison didn't te you anything, I see", he said.

"It doesn't matter Jared , maybe she doesn't take me as a friend anymore, this is a big and important news she should have shared with me but no she has to keep it a secret from me", I said holding my fist tight.

"Anna don't take it in the wrong way, I know how Christof is. He is my friend. I know him very well, his hand must be in this, so don't worry she will tell you everything", he added.

"Do you want to spend some time together Jared?", I asked.

"Yeah sure but you and some important work right", he replied.

"No it's fine I will do it later", I replied.

Jared and I had a cup of coffee together, we then headed towards the garden which was near our office.

Christof POV

Addison got along with my family every well. My family members liked Addison, she was humble and polite to them, her brother Noel was cute too.

He is talkative, and he spoke to me the entire car ride.

I liked talking to him, I pulled Addison's leg too by telling her that her brother is not boring.

When we reached my place my mother welcomed her inside with a hug and we had dinner together.

Sarah was busy playing with Noel, she liked him.

Sarah loves children, but my sister was not lucky enough to have one.

I enjoyed being with Addison the entire time.
