C3 Father's Contract

Christof POV

"Mr Smith please place all the documents on my table, except Mr Smith others leave my cabin right now" I said. Mr Smith was very nervous as he knew what was coming towards him. "This company is of my dad's, as my dad passed away it is my duty to take over it. From now on I'll be handling this company. Did you get it Mr Smith.

I want all the documents of all the workers on my table . I want to see the progress of all of them. I'll be allotting the position of each worker, from now on you and your workers will work according to me.

Did I make myself clear mr smith, call a meeting. I want to see all of them in an hour and yes tell them to be on time. I hate late comers!!!!" I said in a cold voice. I then started to turn on the pages of each worker's file to see how much progress was done by them.

After an hour all the workers assembled in the meeting room, and they were waiting for me , I then arrived in the room and all stood up and greeted me. I took my seat and placed all the documents on the table.

I could see the fear in their eyes for me and I liked that.

I then started to open one by one each worker's files by taking their names.

I removed defaults in each of their files and warned them if their work was not perfect the next time they would be removed from their job

But when I came to the last file which named Addison Warner, there was no default in it , she had done her work perfectly. I was impressed by that. Soon later after a lot of scolding, I introduced myself

I'm Christof Van Nelson and from now on you will be seeing my face everyday in this office as I'm your new CEO. As you know that my father has passed away and I'll be taking his place and I will be running this company

I would not like any one of you to disappoint me so work hard. you will be assigned with your new positions very soon according to your progress, and yes Remember it can also be changed the harder you work the higher your position will be. And as I have told you if your work is not up to the mark you can be removed, Mr Smith will inform you about the other details, saying this I left the meeting room.

After leaving I told Jared to keep a watch on every employee and their reaction after I leave.

I entered my cabin, I took a seat and began to work on my laptop.

I could imagine the girl with blonde hair and beautiful black eyes.

I couldn't stop thinking about her,

Her assignments were perfect. I couldn't find a single mistake in it. I assume she is a hardworking girl and a dedicated one.

I could see the innocence in her eyes.

I wanted to know everything about this girl.

She is the perfect match for my plan.

I can use her and execute my plan properly.

I needed a girl who is innocent and not sly and wicked.

Anna POV

Addison is one of my closest friends since high school, I applied for the same job after completing our graduation.

We both were lucky enough to get the job in the same company.

Unlike other girls, Interested in boys or dating anyone, she was focused on making a career and life for her brother Noel.

There were things that I used to not share with her because she used to react in a weird manner, I stopped shareing about my relationship with her.

I didn't tell anything about Jared to Addison.

I met Jared online on instagram, he had sent me a friend request on instagram and then we began to chat for 2 months.

I liked Jared and wanted to date him,

Jared was a bit angry with him because when I used to chat with Jared I was still dating.

I wanted to share this information with Addison but she would not understand and just go on explaining to me that it is not right dating online, it is bad and risky, there are chances to get cheated.

Addison is perfect in her work, she was not aware that the male employees in our office wanted to date Addison.

She is beautiful and attractive,

who would not like to date a girl like her.

She is lucky in all situations.

Authors POV

Christof Van Nelson is one of the successful businesses. He is a cold hearted and a serious man who doesn't feel love for anyone.

He has dedicated his life to his work.

He has a sister and a brother who are also handling his father's business.

His father was worried about him and his attitude. So his father decided to make a contract which had rules in it. If Christof didn't follow his father's contract then he would lose his share from his father's properties.

Christof's father knew that Christof would not marry in future and his father's dream was that Christof would marry and have kids so that he could live a happy and well settled life.

His father didn't want any girl or any person to take advantage of him, his father felt that if he would have a wife she would care for him and bring him on the correct path or maybe she could change his heart.

Christof was his Father's beloved son and his father loved him more than his other siblings. Christof was in search of a girl who he could marry and get his share.

This contract was kept a secret nor his mom knew about it or his brothers.

His father had strictly stated that this contract would be only between him and his son, and no one else should be knowing about this.

Christof's father had passed away a month ago and he was aware about this contract after 15 days of his father's death.

Christof needed a girl who was innocent and not sly. He also wanted his future wife to be hardworking and dedicated to her work.

He found all those qualities in Addison.

He wanted to know everything about Addison as he chose her to be his wife.

Christof POV

"Everyone can leave early as you need to get ready for the party tonight, I will meet all of you today in the party,I would like all you to attend it",I said with a bold voice.

It was 6 pm, I entered the party hall, it was well decorated, the party theme was a masquerade party, I wore a black mask and black suit.

I had invited a few of my friends to that party, they all were waiting for me, with a glass filled with beer in their hands.

I approached them and began to have a small chat with them.

After a few minutes I saw that Addison entered the party hall wearing a beautiful red slit dress, it was an off shoulder dress, she looked just like a princess, I couldn't let my eyes off her, she looked so pretty and beautiful.

She joined her group of friends and began to chat and giggle with them.

She wore a silver mask, and a silver pair of heels.

"Hey Chris are you even listening to us or you're lost in someone's dreams", one of my friends asked.

"No I am listening to you guys, you can continue", I replied.

But the truth was that I was lost in Addison, I couldn't let my eyes off her.

After a few minutes a guy approached her and began to flirt with her, I was holding my fist very tight. I felt like punching him on his face, but I couldn't do that.

He asked Addison if she could be his dance partner on the dance floor.

I pulled Addison towards me and took her to the dance floor.

I was holding her waist and I was looking into her beautiful eyes.

I know she is scared and shocked about what just happened, I couldn't bear to see her with someone else.

We danced for a few minutes.

After an hour food was served, I didn't have it because I prefer to have food which is made at home.

"Christof are you falling for this girl Addison", Jared asked me.

"No not at all you know that I am not interested in dating anyone right?Why do you ask this question?,I asked him.

"That's because It seems that you are very much interested in her, the moment she entered this hall you couldn't stop staring at her, that clearly shows you are falling for this girl Christof", he replied.

"Jared you know what happened right in my past, how the girl whom I loved so much betrayed me with my enemy, after all of this how can you imagine me falling in love again with any girl",I said.

"You should move on Christof, all girls are not the same, but I can see love in your eyes for this girl, I have never seen that in your eyes for any other girl!", He said.

"This girl is different Jared I can see the innocence in her eyes, but I just can't trust any girl, it reminds me of the betrayal she had caused, she left me broken hearted,Jared I don't want to talk about this girl, and please I don't want to be in relationship with any girl, I already have too much going on in my life

You don't know the reason why I'm so interested in this girl, I want to leave for home", saying this left I the party.

I entered my car and we drove back home.

Addison POV

I began to get ready for the party tonight,

I took a shower, I headed towards my closet and began to search for my red velvet slit dress, that was one of my favourite dresses of all.

I put on my velvet dress,and a silver pearl necklace which would match my heels.

The colour of my mask was also silver.

Noel sat on my bed watching me get ready.

"Can I come along with you Addison please!!", He said.

"I wish I could take you along with me sweetheart but I can't, next time when there is any function in my office I will surely take you along with me okay darling", I said.

"You always say the same thing but you never take me along with you", he said crossing his hands and looking in an other direction with a cute angry face.

I carried him in my arms and kissed him on his cheeks.

"I am sorry darling but this function is not for kids, ok I will get you your favourite chocolate and tonight we will have a movie night together after I return home, how will that do?", I asked him.

"Ok fine but next time you will take me along with you", he replied.

"Yes promise I will take you along with me".

I left him in auntie Maddie's house, caught a cab. After an hour I reached the party hall where the function was held.

I saw Anna with a group of our co-workers.

Anna called me towards her and gave me a tight hug.

"Addison you look beautiful in this outfit, I love the colour it suits you",she said.

"Thank you, you look good too", I replied.

We all were chatting and cracking jokes.

After a few minutes Jacob approached me and asked me if I could dance with him on the dance floor.

I didn't like Jacob nor was I interested in dancing with him.

Suddenly I felt someone grab my hand and that person pulled me towards them.

When I looked up it was Christof our CEO.

He was holding my waist tight.

I was confused for a moment, there were questions going on in my head that why did he pull me towards him, and why was he interested in dancing with me.

After a few seconds Anna joined us too on the dance floor, her dance partner was Jared Christof's guard.

After a few minutes of dancing, I and Anna headed towards the food court to have our dinner

We had our dinner and chatted a bit.

I left for home, I saw a store open so I headed towards the small store and purchased a few chocolates and snacks to have while watching a movie with Noel.

After an hour I reached home.

I changed and put on Noel's favourite cartoon, we watched it together and had the snacks which I bought.

Noel fell asleep in arms, I tucked him in bed.

I slept besides him, holding him tight in my arms.

he slept just like an innocent angel, Noel is my only family member, I have no family members except Noel, he is the reason I live, without him my life is incomplete.

when I return home tired and stressed, but when I look at Noel's sweet and innocent face,I forget all my tension and worries.

Before my mom dying she told me to take care of Noel, I promised my mom that I would give Noel a beautiful life, he will not struggle like me.
