C4 A very difficult situation

Ella's POV

I had my heart in my mouth as I couldn't reach out to my cabman since my phone was missing.

I lost my cool, soul and body seemed apart from each other as I dashed out to the Express road; there I stopped a taxi that was heading my way.

I hopped in immediately as I disappeared to my apartment frantically shutting my door after me in fear and trepidation.

The first thing I did was to reach out for a glass of water as my throat completely turned into a desert void of any iota of wetness.

I switched on the fans to cool off the hot steamy sweats that were gushing out from my body. Its smell seems so conk- like thick fluids possessing a stench of gore and putrid odor.

The aura seemed overpowering so I quickly ran into the bathroom to take a cold shower.

In a short while, a soft knock is heard on the door.

My feet were glued to the ground as I was still in fear of going to check who it was.

“I mean come on I'm still trying to get over the awful creature I saw today,” I whispered under my breath in shaken steps.

“Who is this person that chose to visit me by half past nine even in this critical moment when I'm still trying to process everything I saw?”

I asked myself, contemplating who it was.

A part of me perched on the window to check while the other surveyed the sitting room to know when the monster appeared to me.

My fear doubled as I could barely see anyone outside. Just when I turned to dry my body properly the knock was heard the second time; this time in a slow collective manner.

I paused, slowly turning backward to go get the door.

The door squeaked as I opened only to behold Henry standing in front of me.

My heart skipped as my blood suddenly congealed. I stood frozen at a spot sweating profusely; fidgeting like I had seen a ghost.

“I heard you dropped by but maybe I wasn't around or something and here you left your cell phone.”

He voiced out stretching his hand to release my phone.

I stared in shock with my eyes slowly surveying him from head to toe trying to spot any attribute of a werewolf. My heart bubbled in fear as I remembered the trembling sound and transformation that just happened earlier in Henry's Apartment.

In shaking hands, I reached out to get my phone but a part of me kept pulling me back. I stood for a moment casting a detailed scrupulous look at him.

He was mute for a moment looking as though he was battling with a strong force within him. I could tell from the mysterious frown on his face and his body display that he was going to transform into something.

I muttered these words beneath my Breath forming a tight clenched fist.

“I doubt if he knows I'm aware of the truth, I'm scared but how could he never tell me about his real identity.”

“Oh my goodness just when I was about to get a relationship with the one I love it turns out he's a werewolf - a human; half-wolf

and to think of it this way that he could transform back to a complete human still baffles me.”

I looked at him closely but he seemed too busy to even notice; the force seemed overpowering so I decided to distract it a little.

He looks at me and finally opens his mouth to say something.

“Sorry… Please excuse me, I have to go now, I love you, catch you tomorrow.” He voiced out frantically running out to only God knows.

A bag of relief emptied on my hand as I immediately slammed the door vehemently closing the curtains.

I sat down on the cushion drowning with thoughts as everything around me seemed to be confusing. I needed honest answers but nobody was there to give ears to my questions.

Henry's POV

“Not again, this force won't just let me be, it keeps ruining my life, my relationships, my peace- everything I hold up in high esteem.”

I yelled to the atmosphere with my eyes bubbling in anger as my entire being couldn't help it any longer.

“ I must find out what's happening and put an end to this nonsense.”

I assured myself.

“What if Ella finds out about this, how will she handle it, will she still be able to love me regardless.”

“Shit! I just screwed up big time, No! What is mine even saying this force just overshadowed me.”

I cried out slowly lowering myself to the ground. It was already a minute past 10, I sat on the edge of the roadside waiting hopelessly for a cab.

“Henry, you need to fix this…..

Oh my gosh! This isn't ordinary and it only shows I'm cursed, Yes I am if not why will all these be before me.”

I wept bitterly; pricking myself like a sharp nail- the inner pain seemed too heavy; my eyes swollen and my entire being restlessly moving to and fro.

The night kept getting darker so I decided to treat it back home.

I got to a secluded place void of any moving creature- just a stench of mystery and putrid odor emanating from the air. I looked up at the sky beholding the Full Moon, it shone so bright upon me that I could feel myself transforming into a werewolf.

Excessive hairs flooded my body, my mortal flesh torn apart revealing a fang pale skin and gigantic claws.

I sat quietly even with a contrite heart to hear what the Moon Goddess had to say; just maybe I could finally get an answer to my question.

“I see your heart is troubled- if you could remember….. you had a nightmare telling you to go back and answer the call and free yourself from the curse.” The Moon Goddess spewed, covering the entire place with the overpowering tone of her voice.

I asked in curiosity…

“What curse?”.

“Seat tight, let me refresh your memory of how it all started and what brought about the curse.” She responded by assuring me of a solution to my conflicting thoughts.

FLASHBACKS

A chill wind blew through the dark forest making the leaves rustle and the trees creak. The moon stood hidden behind thick clouds, casting a mysterious shadow.

A young man prowled alone through the woods, his steps light and quick. He is unaware of the danger that lurks in the gloomy shadows.

He continued, approaching a clearing. In the center was a small cottage, with smoke curling up from its chimney. A putrid odor emanates from it as flickering light shines through the window, casting eerie shadows.

Guess who that young man was?

He was your Father…..

He's late now but let's continue there's still more to uncover.

The young man paused, on seeing movement in the shadows of the cottage.

Curiously, he took a hesitant step forward. The door of the cottage creaked open as a figure emerged;

It was an old creepy witch with old hair.

It was a woman holding a staff in one hand with the tip of it dipped into the Silver Pot of Solution.

He was on a mission to steal something that wasn't his.

“The Silver Pot of Solution”- A pot capable of revealing anything including passing out judgment and disseminating wisdom and riches.

He wanted to be the most powerful Alpha king that ever ruled seeing that every Alpha wanted this particular silver pot so badly.

The Woman in question appears as a witch inside her cottage but a beautiful young Omega outside the pack. She pretended and deceived the whole pack; scrupulously hiding her real identity as a witch.

This was only possible because of the Pot and once anything happens to the Silver Pot her real identity will be revealed at the Fortnight and afterwards she will kick the bucket.

The young man was lucky to hide quickly; patiently waiting to steal the pot. In a moment, she's out in the woods to go get some leaves only to return and discover her Pot missing.

She went completely naked as she cried out showering curses on the souls and lineage of the thief.

With a bittered heart that was going to pass out in two weeks, she voiced out.

“May every of the lineage of this soul continue to experience heartbreak, people will hate them and every of their identity they try to hide, it must surely be revealed- the force will be so irresistible and overpowering that they will remain vulnerable until they finally kiss the dust goodbye.”

She made this statement before she died and after three days your Dad also gave up the Coast leaving you his succeeding Alpha in the dark completely unaware of the environment that was before your conception.

“Alright, to every problem there must be a remedy and I will be telling you what I want to do to salvage this situation as soon as possible.”

“The only solution to the problem you are facing is just one thing and is right in front of you.”

“Yes!, you only need a lineage from the Family of the Witch.”

“I know you might be wondering,”

“Is nobody else but ELLA.”

She's the only surviving seed from the Witch's lineage and only she can accompany you to the gloomy forest of doom to get the Silver Pot of Solution and free you from the curse.”

“But Ella is Human…”

Henry asked in curiosity and complete confusion.

“She was able to come out from it by a powerful Sorcerer but one thing is sure it can be stirred up back if she undergoes certain things.”

I replied to Henry. He's shaking and completely wasted at this big insane revelation that struck him tonight.

“And one more thing you must go back and claim your pack before the curse can be averted.”

I concluded as the moon slowly disappeared with me leaving Henry all alone.
