I never would have suspected that Manoel was Eliza's father, he had told me that he had two other children from another marriage, but never told me anything more about them. And when I found out that she is Heloísa's half-sister, I thought about asking Manoel to give me Eliza's hand in marriage, but I don't know if it was the right thing to do.

I don't want her harm, but, I can no longer stay Heloisa, I don't have the same feeling as in the beginning. I'm sure I can achieve this with Eliza, I feel something so good coming from her, but, when I saw that Thomas met her at the company party, he even warned me about a wonderful woman he had met, but, I never suspected it was Eliza he was talking about.

I still haven't figured out how I can talk to Manoel about the change of plans since I want to break up with Heloísa and get married to Eliza, but I need to prepare the ground; I know that Thomas is interested in her, even though he has been married for years to Louise, who is expecting their first child.

I was at the company finishing some paperwork, but I end up hearing an argument and I was more astonished to realize that it was Pietro and Eliza before I could get closer to them to check what was going on, Eliza slapped Pietro in the face, but unfortunately, I did not hear the content of their conversation so I decided to follow Carla and Eliza to the restaurant, even though it would be wrong.

I arrive at the restaurant almost together with them and sit down at a very reserved table and what I hear makes me more and more impressed and even more enchanted with Eliza because of her life story.

I have just found out that she was a drug addict and that unfortunately, her daughter had died during childbirth, and if before I didn't like Pietro, now I hate him for everything he has done against Eliza, who from the little I have known of her, I have seen that she is a wonderful woman, I would fire him without hesitation if he did anything against her.

After I listen to the girls' conversation, they then leave and I receive a message from Heloísa asking me where I was, this was what most wore out our relationship, her excessive jealousy. I was tired of everything. She even tried to forbid me to go to the party of Afonso, Carla's brother, who had planned a barbecue and pool party at his house.

I finish the conversation with Heloísa, she has changed lately, she has become a shallow person who only cares about things that don't add anything, and she believes that everyone is inferior to her, I don't recognize her anymore. At the beginning of the relationship, she was an amazing woman, but after her father became a millionaire, she changed from water to wine, for a while I even felt something for her, but as time went by I only felt disgusted and contempt. The worst thing is that she doesn't suspect that her father only promised this marriage to me because he lost millions of money and was almost bankrupt.

I don't know if I can break up with Heloise because we agreed with the families. I just wanted my life to be the same as Leo's, who had fallen in love precisely with the girl who would be his wife in the future, passion at first sight, just like what happened between Eliza and me.

After thinking about all this I go to my apartment, I still don't live with Heloísa and I decide to go and get ready as soon as Carla and her brother Afonso get together for a barbecue.

Today was very tiring and nothing better than a party to take all the tension out of the body. After arriving home, I took a long bath and when it was time to get ready I choose to put on a black tank top and a pair of shorts of the same color. I perfume myself thoroughly and fix my topknot. I take the opportunity to put on sunglasses, it was not so late and not so early.

After I finish getting ready, I grab my car key again and head for Afonso and Carla's house, I ring the bell and it doesn't take long for someone to answer the door.

- Great Pedro, I thought you would not come today - He speaks greeting me - The boss finally left you alone? - Afonso asks jokingly, Heloísa's reputation among my friends was not the best.

- You thought wrong, Heloísa doesn't boss me and never will. She even tried to forbid me to come, but, she texted me and I didn't even answer her anymore," I say laughing, "She's tiring me more than usual lately.

Alphonse just shakes his head as if he doesn't believe me, but, he knew how my relationship with her was, well worn out.

- The party is amazing, I would have just had a small barbecue, but, you know how Carla is, she preferred to have a pool party right away and called some friends.

I wonder if she invited Eliza since they are good friends. I decided not to think about it too much and just enjoy the party.

- Dude, is that Gabriela? Does she know you had this party? - I ask.

Because I know that they were fighting and that she had traveled to her mother's house to unwind.

- We are still fighting, but she doesn't know about the party," Alphonse smiles a little disconsolate at my question.

- You are crazy, I just want to see when she finds out," I say, laughing at the face he was making.

- The people are out in the backyard," says Afonso already pulling me to the outside of his house, and I have to agree that it was a huge party.

However, when I arrived there I realized that there was someone I did not even want to see painted. I held myself back so as not to advance on that person and ruin Alfonso's party, something I would not forgive myself for if it happened.
