Seeing that man so close to Eliza, I can't hold back the anger I felt at that moment.

I come out of my bubble when I feel Heloise kissing me and when she realizes that I don't reciprocate she makes an angry expression.

- My love, is everything all right? - she asks, crossing her arms.

- Yes," I answer monosyllabically. I didn't want to listen to Heloise right now.

When she starts nagging me again, I end up losing my head and saying some things that I always felt comfortable saying.

- Heloise, that's enough, I've had enough of you," I say.

Heloise looks at me with her eyes watering, but I didn't feel sorry or pity for her. I know the play and I know how she can be. Then, tired of seeing Eliza close to that man, I approached those two, and from a distance, I could hear Heloise speaking.

- Pedro, come back here now. You're going to break up with me like this. You owe me an explanation.

Since I was blinded by rage, I didn't even pay attention to her anymore.

I approached the couple.

- Let her go now," I said, being extremely rude, something that everyone probably found strange since I have always been a calm person. I believe that I am blind to jealousy because of Eliza.

This couldn't even happen because I am engaged to Heloise, but I had just broken up with her.

Eliza just looks frightened in my direction, I was nervous, unable to hold myself together.

- You didn't hear what I said, I told you to let Eliza go now," I ask again with the little calm I still have left, slowly approaching those two.

He puts himself in front of Eliza as a way of protection, making the redhead open a slight smile and this was enough for my anger to increase more and more.

- I'm not talking again," I say, clenching my fists and holding back from punching him in the face.

- You've gone crazy, man," he says as calmly as possible.

- I will be crazy if you don't get away from her now," I say, getting closer and closer, "Are you deaf or what?

- Matheus, be careful - Eliza says.

So this asshole's name is Matheus.

I could feel that more and more people were coming closer to see what was going on. I didn't see Heloise around anymore, she had probably left in shame.

Eliza seemed desperate about what might happen.

- Pedro, enough of this senseless fighting. Everyone's looking," she says, looking into the faces of all the people present.

- I don't care if people look. Let's get out of here now," I say.

Eliza stares dumbfounded in my direction not believing what I am saying.

- Pedro, you have no right to talk to me like that," she says, "I'm not going anywhere with you. What's on your mind for thinking that? You're engaged to be married and she's my half-sister," she adds, probably thinking that I have gone crazy.

I take a deep breath and let it all out, feeling it warm in my nostrils.

- If not for good, you will go for bad," I say, taking Eliza's arms.

I take a few steps, holding her arm, and making her follow me.

- Let her go," Matheus says, trying to get me to let go of Eliza's arm.

- Don't come any closer," I say.

I see Eliza glance with her tail in Matheus's direction as if to apologize to him.

- Matheus is fine. I'm going to leave with him, and then we can talk about it," she says.

I don't give Eliza a chance to say anything more and start dragging her out of Afonso's house, and everyone looks at us curious and very scared. Eliza must have realized that Heloise was far from being located because of the expression she was making.

I could tell that Eliza's body hair stood on end as I stood closer to her.

When we were close to the car, I could feel that Eliza was trying to get out of my grip.

- Let go of me," she says, trying to free herself from my hands. You're hurting me" Eliza whimpers a little, making me realize that she was hurting her arm.

- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you," I say, feeling guilty and without looking at her face, I say, "Get in the car now.

Eliza smiles in debauchery and, shaking her head from side to side, takes my hand off her arm.

- Do you think I'm going to get in your car after all you've done? I'm getting a cab and going to my house," Eliza says turning to leave as quickly as possible.

Eliza takes at most two steps until I can hold her arm again, I practically put the force in my car locking the door soon after so that she cannot get out of the vehicle.

Then I also get in the car and immediately start the vehicle.

The car starts to move.

- Where do you live? - I ask with a little hoarseness in my voice.

Eliza did not seem happy with the way I was treating her at that moment.

- I'm not going to tell you," she says grumpily, "Stop this car now because I want to get out and go to my place alone.

- Perfect, I'll take you to my place then," I say.

I could tell that Eliza seemed apprehensive about what I said.

- You must be crazy, there's no way I'm going to your place. I'm not just anyone," Eliza says.

I smile debauched at what she said and don't think about the words I would say next.

- You're not just anyone, but, well you stayed with my brother without knowing him - I speak and I could tell she looked indignant - And yes he told me what you did.

- Who I was or was not with is none of your business, if you think you offend me by saying these things, you are very wrong, because I am not the engaged one and practically kidnapped another person - She speaks debauchery - Who is the one here?

- I don't care - he says - I want you to tell me now where you live - I speak with a semblance of anger and speak slowly.

- Peter, why are you doing all this to me? - Eliza answers me with another question.

I sigh, sad for doing all this to Eliza, but I can't stand it.

- You would never understand. Maybe I can explain everything to you," I say, "I wanted to apologize for everything.

Would Eliza not understand me? I feel I owe her several explanations, my behavior was unacceptable, and I never imagined behaving this way with any woman.

I tell Eliza about everything that has happened to me recently and since she didn't tell me where she lives, I take a different route going to the luxury apartment that I used to live in.
