We had just arrived at the Roxy Club, the hottest club in São Paulo, where several people meet to drink, dance, and have fun, and right at the door we almost bumped into Pietro and Cassandra, who didn't seem happy to see me, and Pietro was as if he didn't care about me anymore, as if I didn't exist.

Carla turns toward me.

- My friend, how angry they are that they came too," she says. Carla had really taken a dislike to Pietro.

So I approached the bar and spoke to the bartender.

Thomas smiles maliciously.

Carla's face is extremely flushed as she realizes that she has been caught in the act.

Then we left the bathroom together and headed to the dance floor and from far away I saw my brother who seemed to be looking for something.

- Eliza, where were you? Carla said she was going to the bathroom and didn't show up anymore," he says, looking at Carla with an angry expression, but he knew it was a lie.

Before I could say anything, Carla spoke in my place.

- Lucas, I'm sorry, I ran into Eliza in the bathroom, and we were gossiping - She was really believing that Lucas was angry with her.

I start laughing like a typo and Carla looks at me startled without understanding what was happening.

- Girlfriend, don't mind my brother. And Lucas, I was out there, I ended up with a man here at the club, but let's go, I'm exhausted, I have to go to work tomorrow, the luck is that Pedro asked us all to come in later because of the party tonight.

I was exhausted, I started today at work, and I already presented my first meeting, I had problems with Pietro and his girlfriend. I also had difficulties with Heloise, Pedro's fiancée.

- Carla answers, saying goodbye to me and to my brother, who seemed sad to see her leaving.

After she left, I took advantage that there were still some employees left and went to say goodbye to them.

I ignored Heloise and Cassandra, who called me a "bitch".

But it makes my day when I hear Pedro talking.

- Leaving so soon?

He seemed sad or disappointed that I was leaving.

- Since you are leaving, would you accept a ride from me? - Peter's question leaves me astonished at his audacity, especially since his fiancée is on his side.

I just didn't expect that the following sentences would be full of jealousy on his part.

- Who is it? - He asks, his voice full of jealousy, and I decide to add more wood to the fire.

- A friend of mine," I say, "See you tomorrow, guys." Before I leave, I decide to look at Pedro, who really seemed to be jealous of me.

And so I went home with my brother.

I wonder what awaits me at the company tomorrow. I am afraid of what might happen. A strange feeling came over my body as if something big was going to happen.
