The light was blinding. It was everywhere. Cold and sharp like knives of ice stabbing her from the inside out. She opened her mouth, trying to force out words of a command, any command that might counter this attack, but pain stole them away.
In desperation, she tried to push at the light, but it was so complete, how it surrounded her, that there was nowhere to even start.
