At the scene of a serious accident, a long barricade was placed to keep the spectators away from the scene, beyond the barricade, the police officers attended to the accident victims. A half-burned five-seater car stood at the side of the road with a broken windscreen, besides where the police officers trying to open the door of the car, a hardened officer whose name was James broke in through the windscreen when they were unable to unlatch the car door, he has witnessed where a half-burned car explodes after some minutes into ashes, "I can't allow history to repeat it", he said in his head, he dawdles to the driver seat and met the driver on the driver seat, he had jerked his head back with his eye wide open, and his eyelid pop opened, James checked his pulse, then he shook his head sadly knowing he has gone.

James moves to the back seat to check for the injured who might still be alive, he let out a heavy berth as his eyes fell on the half-conscious female, he glanced over his shoulder and told his colleagues to order for a nearby hospital ambulance.

Cassie who was fading in and out of consciousness blinked to try to clear her blurry vision, she groaned in pain.

Cassie's consciousness hung by a thin line, a sharp jab of pain locked her out, she stuttered in pain "help us" as her blurry vision sight a man drawing closer to her before she lost her consciousness.

James carried her and slipped her through the windscreen, her body was burned beyond recognition.

'Where are the remaining bodies?" James said in his head rashly, he heard the last word of Cassie before she lost her consciousness, he's worried, and he's sweating rigorously, sweat seeped down from his armpit as his brain replayed the explosion of a half-burned car into ashes.

After a quick search he spotted another body beneath the back seat, he checked the pulse to see if she is still alive, he heaved deeply, knowing the person is alive but unconscious.

He carried her and slipped her down through the windscreen, afterward hurriedly he get out from the windscreen, and order everyone to move away from the car, in a blink the half-burned car explode into ashes.

The explosion terrified many of the spectators, it makes many of the spectators leave the scene one by one while the police officer wait for the ambulance.

"You are a lifesaver, if not for you, they could have exploded with the car but too bad, their facial feature is burnt, " The senior police officers in the Patrol, Harry by name hype James.

"You are a pride to the Police officer, you are a footstep to other police officers " Harry added

"Thank you sir but is painful the driver died," James said with a sadness in his tone.

"And where is his body? because I didn't see his body among body you slipped down to us," An officer said in a Spite tone.

Harry glanced at James expecting an explanation.

"He has fallen before I entered into the car, my initial focus was to save the alive, eventually I forget to bring out his body before it explodes" James explained although he know he might be sanctioned for it.

Harry caressed his shoulder and smile slightly.

"You did your best, none of us was able to risk our lives and go into the car, besides you save many lives here today by telling everyone to move away from the car, and am surprised of how you know it will explode," Harry said with a look of expectancy of explanation.

"It happened in my former station, and we lost many lives that day and is the reason I applied for a transfer to your station sir," James said bitterly.

"Oh!! I see, but you save more today," Harry said with a smile of comfort.

James smiled but the third police officer hissed, James was not bothered instead he moves away to scan around if he can find any of the injured belongings.

"You can't reach his height If you refuse to appreciate his work and learn from him, good resists the proud, and give grace to the humble, be humble so that you can learn, " Harry said to the third office.

Angrily The third officer pounds his fist into his hand as harry leaves his side to the injured.

He notices an emerald-cut diamond ring, a whopping 35-carats and it has two delicate tapered baguette diamonds. The ring is set in solid platinum, the diamond truly shows off its splendor and magnificence!, and it has a symbol "J" and is on the finger of one of the injured.

"Indeed fire purifies Gold" Harry mumbled as he glimpses as the gold shined even after it has passed through explosion fire.

Harry scanned the ring, he strives to recollect what the J stands for, he has heard about a powerful lineage who use J as their symbol of wealth, but he couldn't recall, he was still contemplating on how to know their family since their body is burning, when he heard the hooting of the ambulance driving In, he turned and moves close to James.

"Have you found clues of how we can get to their family?" Harry asked James since he is good at solving complex issues.

"No sir, their belongings have burned, getting a clue will be hard," James said

"Let me go and see the ring sir," James said hurriedly and he headed to the injured impatiently, he didn't want the Emt to move them into the Van until he checks the ring.

The Emt(Emergency Medical technician) officers brought out two stretchers from the van for the injured, then they carried the injured from the ground and laid on the stretcher, the spectators who remained were gawping at them afar, their eyes were reddish, some cried seeing how their bodies have burned with severe bruises, their face has burned. The stretcher was wheeled inside the ambulance, and the Emt drove out of the scene hastily, James was unable to check the ring, he headed into their small car with the remaining Police Officers and trailed the ambulance into the hospital

The ambulance arrived at the hospital, they were wheeled out and led carefully into the emergency ward, the Police officers were asked to write the accident statement, and James was chosen to write the report since he was the one that entered into the car to save them.

Afterward, he went to meet his boss and colleagues outside the hospital after he has filled every necessary document the hospital demanded.

He salutes his boss and let out

"Sir, can you describe what the ring looks like?, it will be hard to see the injured now, the doctor said they can't be seen now, they have been moved to the ICU (INTENSIVE CARE UNIT) he said the injury is severe and it will take God grace for them to survive it, we need to find their family asap" James explained.

"Okay," Harry replied and explained what the ring looks like.

James racked his brain to remember the prominent, who used J as their symbol of wealth, he knows the ring is expensive and It can't be used by commoners except the opulent.

All of a Sudden an image flashed through his brain, without hesitation, he glanced at his colleague's police officers

"Are you with today's newspaper? I want to check last night's engagement party pictures of the heir of VIXIES GROUP OF COMPANY " he said impatiently.
