Josh entered his office and looked grumpily on the stack of documents that needs his review, He had gotten a lot of business deals thanks to his engagement with Miss Reid.

His office screamed wealth as one walked in, from the expensive artworks to high-quality leather furniture. It was a sight to behold.

He flopped on his chair and glared at the document, wishing that he can review them all without touching

them.

He heaved deeply and fixed his gaze on the document, He peeled the jacket off his three-piece suit and hung it on the modern coat rack in his office, and he rolled up his shirt sleeves as he sat, pulling his laptop closer and picking up one of the files in the neat pile to be reviewed.

After some minutes of reviewing the documents, there was another double knock on his door. The knock was all he needed to identify who it was. Without looking up from the document he replied, "come in"

Loosened the button of her colored fitted button-down cooperate shirt, before placing her hand on the doorknob. His Secretary turned the doorknob gently and walled in

His presence was overwhelming, and her body reacted with both terror and lust so strong it made her head spin as she entered his office.

"Well done sir," the secretary said with a seductive smile on her face, her smile was cunning, the glow of lust in her eyes.

"What can I do for you?" Josh said

"A man called in and requested to speak with you," the secretary said seductively, advertising her breast even though Josh's concentration was on the work he's doing, he didn't spare her a glance.

"You should have instructed him to call my line?" He said in a softer tone.

"I instructed them to call your line, but he said you didn't pick up sir," the secretary said.

"Okay, transfer their call to my line," Josh said

"Okay sir" The secretary stuttered.

she stood and refuse to leave his office, waiting for his boss to look at her wanton advances, Josh is the heir of Vivxes Groups of company, the biggest company in Africa, and he's the most wanted bachelor's in Africa, women want to have him on their bed, they melt whenever they sighted his presence.

Josh is fascinated by the work he is doing, but later on, he notices someone's shadow in his office, he raised his head and his gaze fell on the exposed breast of her secretary, and her eyes are stimulated by lust, and he looked away.

"Any problem," Josh said in his cold and authoritative tone that send chills to the spine of his Secretary.

"No sir" the secretary replied quickly.

"Good! If there is no problem, get out of my office" Josh said, his echoes filling his office.

Instantly the secretary walks towards the exit door, cursing her boss inwardly as she walks towards the exit door, she is about to place her hand on the latch when her boss's cold voice halted her.

"Don't let me see you with this kind of dress in my office again, is either you button up or change the dress next time?" Josh said with irritation in his voice, His secretary looked back and eyed him disdainfully though Josh's focus is back on the work he is doing.

"Okay sir" she replied faintly and exit his office in a bitter mood.

She felt bad that her boss didn't find her attractive, she has done everything just for her boss to notice her curved shape and her big buttocks but it seems her boss detests her.

"I will get you on my bed, no matter what, I don't care whatever it takes," she said under her breath as she leaned her head on her turning chair

A few seconds after, his office desk phone buzzed and he stretched his hand and to you picked, his other hand working on the laptop.

"Hello, what can I do for you?" He asked with his bossy tone on the phone.

"Good day sir, my name is officer James, I called to confirm something," James said.

"Which is?" Josh asked

"There was an accident today" immediately Josh heard the accident, he withheld what is he doing and concentrate on the call.

"Two ladies and one man was involved in a motor accident, one of them wore a ring that has J symbol, we call to know if you are related to the owner of the ring sir," James said

"Yes, my family used J as their symbol of wealth but I need the description of the ring for me to know who you are talking about?" Josh replied, though his mind is on her aunty who likes wearing their family symbol because of the prestige in it.

James describes the ring over the phone.

"That's is my fiance, we got engaged last night and I gave her the ring," James said

"Okay sir, we will need you in the hospital right away, she has an accident and is terrible, the driver died instantly but your fiance and another lady survive the accident but was badly injured," James said.

"Okay, which hospital?" Josh asked

"Royal hospital in Abuja express Road," James said

"Okay," he replied and hung up, Afterward

Continuing to contemplate who to call between his family and Perrie's family, he finally picked up his phone and dialed his mother's number.

He decided to call his mother since he is not close to Perrie's parents, he doesn't like them for training their daughter as a spoilt brat, Josh was not petted and spoiled like many other billionaires, and his parent is loaded than Perrie's parents yet they raised him well.

He called his mother and she picked up at first ding.

"Hello mummy, I was informed now that Perrie had an accident on her way to the Camp, I was told the accident is severe, I will suggest you called her parents and inform them, they are not aware yet, "Josh said in an unconcerned tone.

" What" her mother screamed over the phone, Josh withdraw the phone from his ear, his mother screamed itched his ears.

"Mummy, why would you scream that way?" He asked his mother.

"Why won't I? we are talking about your wife being here, she is my daughter already, moreover where are you? come and pick me up at the new supermarket in our street, so that we will go together.

"Mummy, am not coming over to the hospital, she has parents, besides she has a good mother-in-law, so you can be my representative there," he said sarcastically over the phone.

"What did you mean? Who does that, a lady you engaged last night, you must come and you will come" his mother said in a serious tone.

"Am not coming mummy, I have to go now, I have much work on my desk" he said rapidly and hung up.

The engagement between them didn't create trust or affection or hope of love, last night during the engagement party, Josh wanted death for Perrie.

FLASHBACK

Perrie moved down the catwalk, swinging her designer-encased butt alongside Josh when they were called on the stage.

People cheered joyfully the moment they stood on the stage, Josh wish there is a way he can stop the engagement, but he can't, is either he stopped it and lost his inheritance to his cousin or flow with the engagement and have access to his inheritance.

Josh slide the ring on her finger with a hatred gaze, Perrie slide the ring on Josh's finger likewise, they looked at each other with deep hatred on their faces.

"Mr. Josh Williams and Mrs soon be, Williams

Ladies and gentlemen" Josh's father declared and they raised their finger ring to showcase to the crowd, people cheered and applauded, they were happy for their engagement being them wealthiest.

It's supposed to be one of the happiest days in their life but is the opposite, they looked at each other with fake smiles, just to deceive people, they are in love with each other but inwardly they have a deep hatred for each other.

Afterward, they were ordered to dance, Perrie is a good dancer but she is not ready to showcase her talents, and because of the hatred she had for Josh, she will rather hide her talent than show motherfucker, she said in her head as josh hold her hand.

Josh hold her hands like a gentleman, people were smiling and happy for them, while some ladies, wishing they have a charm that can kill Perrie, the ladies give Perrie a killer stared but she didn't care and still dance slowly with Josh, after a while Josh draw her close which took Perrie unaware, had it been it was not public, Perrie could have smacked him instead she gave him a deadly stare.

Josh moves his mouth to her earlobe and whispered to her

"Don't forget who you are?, you are a slut, I might be pampering you like a gentleman now, because of the people, but inwardly I wish I can kill you before tomorrow so that I won't marry a bitch you," Josh said in a hoarse voice, he speaks close to a lady could have made any lady get goosebumps, but the opposite is Perrie, she felt like choking him on the stage.

FLASH BACK ENDS

"I hope is not my utterance that got her accident, that will be bad," Josh said after he finish replaying last night's party in his head.

He repositions himself on his leather chair and continues with his work.
