C8 Chapter 8: Lovely Wife

"Princess, princess" Sophia called and hugged Athena as soon as she got into her room

"I'm okay Sophia, calm down," Athena said as she patted her head

"You scared the hell out of me when you didn't come home right after me," she said as she hugged her tighter

"You know I am strong Sophia, no need to worry about me" she said and smiled

Soon they stopped hugging and sat down on the bed

"Did your father congratulate you on your success?" Sophia asked

"No, he did not even ask, it's not like I expected him to" Athena said and smiled

"How is it possible, that you are known as the saint of Azurethra all over the east of our Kingdom, how can he not appreciate that?" Sophia asked angrily

"It is what it is Sophia" Athena said

"I guess you could say so, so about the engagement, did you break it ?" Sophia asked

"Yes I did, but now I am to marry Emporer Deimos soon" Athena said and laughed

"You have to be kidding me," Sophia said and sighed

"What is it, are you not happy for me?" Athena asked

"I am happy for you trust me, but it would have been easier to kill George than an Emperor" Sophia said

"We are not killing Deimos, I chose to marry him of my own accord," Athena said

"I don't believe you, you are a cold-blooded woman who's allergic to men" Sophia said

"I am telling the truth, I chose to marry him and I am not allergic to men" Athena said

"Well the past year says otherwise" Sophia said and they both started laughing

The two of them had been through thick and thin together and they had a bond nobody could break, they only had each other to trust

"I am apparently not allergic to him" Athena said

"It only makes sense for you to not be allergic to a man who is allergic to women," Sophia said and smiled at her

"It makes perfect sense" Athena said and smiled at her

"Well my future Emperess, I shall take my leave and bid you good night" Sophia said and stood up

"Good night Sophia," Athena said

"You shall always be like a little sister to me princess, sweet dreams " Sophia kissed her forehead and left

After her bath, Athena got into her sleeping undergarments and slept peacefully

"Athena, Athena" she heard a voice call her

"Deimos?" She called and opened her eyes

"You're still such a sleepy head, I see you have learned to sleep without me by your side, I'm proud of you," he said and patted her head

"What are you doing here Deimos?" She asked

"I'm here to see my lovely wife of course, did you not miss me?" He asked her as he strolled her

"I missed you so much," Athena said as tears fall out of her eyes

"Don't cry baby, you know my heart hurts whenever I see you crying?" he said and kissed her forehead

"Why did you leave me alone Deimos?" She asked him as she held his arm

"I never left you, Athena, I'm always here, in your heart and stored in the memory of Emporer Deimos, so don't cry my little princess, my lovely wife, my star and go to sleep" he said and kissed her forehead
