C3 “I Think I Have My Pride Back,”

"Huh....... you!" he exclaimed as he realised it was the lady who had caused him to fall down.

The lady looked at him without feeling sorry for what he had done. "Do you believe you can flee without apologising?" she entered the elevator while the door shuts.

He was confused. He thought it was the woman who bumped into him, which means it is her who is meant to apologise to him. "Apologize to you, like seriously, ha ha!" he said, laughing awkwardly.

"Why are you laughing awkwardly? You fell down and ran into the elevator trying to escape," she said.

She was struck by his expression. It appeared to be frightening to her. He began to approach her slowly, while she moved backwards until her back was against the elevator. Their eyes were locked on each other. Alex could hear her heart racing extremely fast.

"You fell me down and now you want me to apologise to you. Do you know who you're talking to, oh that doesn’t matter right now and what makes you think I'll swallow my pride to apologise to a lady? The lady who was the one that actually fell me down" he said.

She pushed Alex back and ran out of the elevator as soon as the doors opened. "Hey, come back here; are you not going to apologise?" he yelled.

She didn't even return her gaze to him. Alex exited the elevator as well, and it turned out they were staying on the same floor. She walked into the room next to Alex's. Alex appears to be glad they were neighbours because she owes him an apology, which he won't let her off the hook. His pride will suffer as a result if she doesn’t apologize to him.

Alex entered his door lock pin, and the door opened once the pin was confirmed to be correct. He entered his apartment. His apartment was spotless, as if he had barely lived there. The apartment has three bedrooms. The doors are opposite each other then another beside the masters bathroom. While the kitchen is close to the living room, the living room is slightly larger. He removed his shoes at the door and wore flip flops. He knelt to pick up his shoes.

He went straight to his bedroom, putting his shoes in the shoe rack, walking towards the bed, jumping on it with his face up, and releasing the tie knot as he reflected on what he and Danny had discussed during the day.

Then he remembered something he didn't believe he said. He jumped out of bed, his legs on the tiles, and said, "I'm in love with who?" How? "I can't believe I said that," he thought to himself, shaking his head.

He shook his head no longer. He raised his head. Then he noticed an item which got his attention. He had a flashback about how he obtained the item. He remembered it being a gift from his father. It was given to him after he was successful in opening the art studio to recognise his efforts in making it successful.
