In the storyline, during this particular party, Fu Chen is set to land a big business deal. Seeing Fu Chen benefit, Yiyue naturally isn't happy about it and plans to stir things up.

"Go on..." Luh Xin drawled, glancing at Luh Binn, who seemed a bit nervous. "So, has Yiyue found a date yet?"

"A date?" This question was a bit of a headache. Could she admit she hadn't even started looking?

"I haven't found a date yet. I'll deal with it tomorrow."

Hearing this response over the phone, Luh Xin immediately smirked.

Luh Binn, sitting nearby, suddenly straightened up, straining to catch the voice on the other end of the line.

Seeing her brother's reaction, Luh Xin couldn't help but roll her eyes before saying into the phone, "Yiyue, my brother's going tomorrow too, and he doesn't have a date either. You two should just go together. It'll save you the trouble of finding someone."

Yiyue paused, towel in hand. Luh Binn was going too?

Teaming up with Luh Binn wasn't a bad idea. After thinking it over, Yiyue agreed, "Alright, I'll come over to your place tomorrow afternoon."

"Hey, no need for that!" Luh Xin laughed over the phone. "Let my brother pick you up."

Yiyue raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure that's okay?"

"What's not okay about it? Just wait at home. I'm heading to bed early, so see you tomorrow."

With that, Luh Xin hurriedly wrapped up the call, leaving only the sound of the line disconnecting.

Feeling a bit inexplicable, Yiyue stared at her phone for a while before grabbing the hairdryer to dry her hair. Since she was attending a party, she didn't go to the office that morning, leaving her work in the capable hands of Luh Lan. Taking a rare day off, Yiyue decided to relax as much as possible. It wasn't until dusk that she slipped into the dress she picked out the day before and applied some light makeup.

Yiyue's natural beauty wasn't exactly breathtaking, but she was certainly attractive. The subtle makeup only enhanced her features. She grabbed her purse and headed out, spotting the black sedan waiting by the roadside from a distance. The car window was down, and Luh Binn was engrossed in a document.

Yiyue walked over and got into the passenger seat. Seeing her, Luh Binn slowly put away his papers.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," Yiyue said with a slight, apologetic smile. She had noticed that Luh Binn had gone through most of the document, guessing he had been waiting for quite some time.

"Waiting for you? Not long," Luh Binn nodded before starting the car.

Yiyue was momentarily puzzled. What did he mean by "not long"? By the time she processed it, Luh Binn was already driving with a serious expression. She glanced at him, then turned her gaze out the window.

When they arrived at the hotel for the party, it was already packed with people.

Yiyue linked arms with Luh Binn as they walked into the hall together. As soon as they entered, Yiyue's eyes began scanning the room for any sign of Fu Chen. Amidst the bustling crowd, Fu Chen was nowhere to be seen, but Yiyue quickly spotted Lin Yuv, dressed in a stunning white strapless gown. Lin Yuv was surrounded by a group of girls, all chatting and laughing, clearly enjoying themselves.

Luh Binn hadn't been standing there long before people started approaching him to chat. Noticing Yiyue by his side, several people glanced over with curiosity. "And who might this be?" they asked.

Luh Binn looked down at the woman beside him and, in a rare moment, nodded. "My date," he replied.
