I could feel myself moving but my legs weren't doing any work. I peeled my eyes open to see that someone was carrying me on their back, judging by the scent, I realized it was Adrian.

I closed my eyes again and the next time I opened them, the pack house was in view and I sighed in relief. I couldn't wait to see him again
