My kidnappers brought me into an old-looking isolated building, their faces covered with different colors of masks.

It was too difficult to identify them because of the masks they had on their faces, but their voices were almost similar to those of some of the people whom I knew in the palace.

I was probably mistaking them for someone else, so I didn't jump to a conclusion immediately
