C4 CHAPTER FOUR

Safiya Pov

The only thing I could come up with was to get into the road, It's the only way to get closer to him. I just hope this plan works out, and i don't end up dead. I stood by the roadside and waited till their car drove near before jumping.

The car hit me hard knocking me off my feet, I grunted,shit that hurts. The last thing I heard before blacking out was ..

"Oh My God! You hit a fucking girl!"

"I didn't see her, she just.."

"Jeff I don't have time to listen to your excuses, we need to rush her to the hospital."

I found myself in the hospital when I woke up. I reminisced over what happened, yeah I've been hit.

"You're up, can you tell me your name? I'm doctor Blake"

" Where am I ? " I asked feigning Amnesia.

" You're in New York City Miss, can you please tell me your name? "

" My name is... " I frown, scratching my nape, wincing a little at the pain in my hand. "I can't remember, I can't remember my name. Oh my God, who am I? Do I have.... "

" It's okay miss, don't stress yourself out, I'm sure you're suffering from temporary Amnesia. Your memories will come back, you just have to take it easy. There's someone here to see you"

" Someone? " Oh better tell me it's Aris cause I might end up killing anyone right now. I laid back on the bed and pretended I was staring at the ceiling, just like a patient will do.

The doctor left and came back with Aris.

I sat upright, gazing at him uncertainly

"Are you the guy that brought me here? Are we related? Married? Please tell me you know me, i don't even know my name!..I don't" I gasp blinking tears from my eyes

"Hey... It's okay, you'll be staying with me now till you get your memories back"

Finally!! That's what I've been waiting to hear, we're getting somewhere. Daddy will be very pleased with me.

I gave Aris my killer smile "Really? I can really come stay with you? "

He gave a small nod " Yep now lay down back and get some rest we'll be leaving in the morning" Argh.. I really hate it when someone tells me what to do except dad of course.

I laid down and even my breathing, pretending I've fallen asleep. Then I eavesdrop on his phone call.

"Hello mother.. yes he wants me to come back by month end"

Ha! Too bad you'll be dead by then

" Mom, I'm not ready to get married yet, please help me talk to dad... Okay.. love you"

There was silence after he ended the call before I heard his footsteps coming towards me. The bed dipped beside me and I felt his breathing on my face.

He lightly touched my face "Why do you look familiar? Like I've seen you somewhere before... "

I held my breath, God don't let him recognize me. I was hoping he wouldn't suspect a thing because I wasn't dressed in my princess dress or adorn with jewelries.

"Well I guess I'm just stressed out"

He trailed his finger from my forehead to my nose and stopped on my mouth. Then I felt his breathing near me. What the fuck is he trying to do?

I felt his lips on mine and felt like smacking him. The hell? This guy just stole my first kiss. Does he know who I am? I'd so make his death slow and agonizing. He pulled back and muttered' beautiful'

I got lured to sleep with the sound of his breathing.

Aris Pov

I don't know why I kissed her, must be the fact that I didn't get to fuck that whore. Or that she looked so pretty and peaceful, I couldn't resist claiming her pink lips.

A thought pop into my head when mom called, she doesn't even want to listen to my complains about getting married, she's in support with dad but I glanced at sleepy beauty and realized what if...

She could be my wife till she regains her memory but what if she's married? What do I do then?

I shook my head and got into the small bed with her, let's just wait and see how this goes before month end.

A blow in my tummy got me sitting upright, what the hell? I glanced at the girl to see her sleepy peacefully. I frowned, that was weird.

I shrug and lay back down.

I drifted off to sleep and it didn't even get to an hour when something pushed me off the bed. I landed hard on floor with a thud. I became alert immediately and glanced at her, she had occupied the whole space. Jeez what kind of girl sleeps like this? Guess the bed wasn't big enough for her.

I glanced at the time to see that morning was approaching, I decided to give Drew a text telling him to get the car ready. I got up and walked out of the room to meet the doctor.

Safiya Pov

What? He kissed me that wasn't enough for him, he still had the guts to get into my bed, well.. hospital bed, whatever.

I occupied the whole space after pushing him off and waited for what he'd do next. Surprisingly, he walked out of the room. I opened my eyes and thought of a new scheme Yeah I've finally gotten close to him, I need to figure out how to kill him and go back to Egypt. I hate it here already.

I turned to the door when I heard footsteps. It opened and Aris walked in.

"You're up"

I gave him a small smile "Hi, how was your night?"

I chuckled inwardly as he glanced at the bed then me "It was great" A few minutes of awkward silent passed between us before he spoke up. "What can I call you since you don't know your name? "

" I am Fiya, your death"
