C10 REVELATION

He knew there was no way of escape. The doors and the windows were all closed. The shock that walked past his spine an hour again got him extremely nervous. His eyes widened as he saw them coming—they were close now. He gathered little strength and ran towards the closed exit door. He pulled it strongly, but it was locked.

Locked?

His dead thoughts woke up instantly as he watched his weakened limbs lower him to the floor.

This time they were closing upon him and his thoughts started fading and as soon as he allowed it—they captured him.

His captors were six in number and they were all dressed in black clothes and were on masks—black masks. Their strength was overwhelming, it greatly surpasses his own, he noticed. And as he tried to peep through their masks to see—

They held his neck and dragged him to the altar where they spoke in strange tongues.

Can death be this close?

His thoughts came alive.

But why is nobody in the church?

And for the first time, the bread of life bible church seems to be empty. His thought was swallowed up when they got to the altar.

Minutes later, his head was pinned to the altar and as he struggled to lift his head to see, he saw blood—the blood of the dead robbed massively on the doors and as his ears stood to hear the sound that was fast becoming an incessant noise—the voice of the dead took over as the previous noise faded away. And as his eyes walked around the church hall, he saw some people in tattered clothes weeping as if in hell. Their sight greatly frightened him and suddenly his strength returned.

"Leave me alone." He struggled to force himself up but the grip on him was stronger—stronger enough to put him in the spot they wanted him.

Suddenly his thought woke up again.

Where is Prislla?

Where is Dralex?

Are they dead?

And as he screamed again, a mighty force appeared and stood before them. He was a monster whose sight was horrible. And he seemed to be their leader, for the others took instruction from him.

"It is time—stretched out his neck and cut now, let his blood flow—let it flow now." His voice thundered and as their hands searched for a spot in his neck to put the long sharp blade—Eric woke up quickly and started panting.

He looked around and saw Prislla beside him—it was a nightmare.

But was it just a nightmare?

He pondered as the vein in his head throbbed. Sweat rolled down his cheek and his lips shivered.

So close to death he imagined and as Prislla's warm hands touched him from behind, he jumped out of bed.

"What is it, darling?" Prislla asked with eyes putting on a surprising curve. Scare crawled on her skin. "Talk to me, you are frightening me."

Eric walked back to the bed and sat at its edge. "A dream Prislla and it was so real, more like—they got bodies and the church, all blood—blood of humans."

Prislla sat up on the bed confused as she slowly repeated what Eric said. "Church, all blood—human blood." She whispered, "How?" She asked.

It was still late into the night, it wasn't morning yet. Prislla rolled her cover clothes aside and stood up and then sat close to Eric. "I heard you say blood, they got bodies—what sort of dream was that?"

Eric's hand was on his head now. The scenes of the dream seemed so fresh that his eyes seemed to catch flashes of it when he closes them.

He opened his eyes and glanced at Prislla. "Bread of life bible church is a satanic church. A lot has been kept away from me. I thank God I saw—"

Prislla stared closely at him as she kept on watching him talk.

"I have been praying and God is revealing a lot to me already. People in the church are in bondage—I have been fooled." He hit both hands on his head as he managed to give Prislla a gaze.

"I knew it right from the start but you won't listen. The church is full of diverse miracles but the word of God is never preached—never. Satan's church, right? I thought as much." She bits one of her fingernails as her eyes bore into Eric. "Remember when you pleaded with me to go and see him—remember? He never counseled me but was—I think he wanted me—a married woman! I am not surprised because some pastors do the same, Pastors who got no fear of God in their hearts.

"I suppose where I got it wrong was when he prayed for me. I shouldn't have allowed him. Everything changed when he did—everything. I wasn't myself anymore. I felt I was never married and then he started—"

"Started what, Prislla?" Eric's eyes bulged. "He did what to you?"

"Don't bother darling, let's just say it never happened. I mean what you are thinking, never happened. I wasn't myself" She whispered but now she was getting all the more confused as she brushed her hands right through her hair.

"It happened and I want to hear it—all of it!" Eric was at the top of his voice now. "Talk to me Prislla." His unsteady voice came again.

But Prislla knew there was something more underneath the tone. "But I thought I have told you everything a few weeks ago?" Prislla's voice ran cold.

"I can't remember this part. He started doing what?" Eric's eyes reddened.

Prislla never wanted to start talking all over again about this but Eric's eyes got her scared and she knew she just has to do it all over again. "I don't like it but since you want to hear it perhaps all over again, here it is. He touched my breasts, caressed them, and then—"

"And then what?" He didn't let her finish but was eager. He waved his hand for her to go on.

"He kissed me but didn't continue, for the bell rang and he stopped but his hand was already pulling my skirt down— I can't even control myself. I didn't know what he did to me—but when the door opened. He stopped and asked me out for the next counselee to come in." Prislla's voice dragged, "When I walked past the door. I only remembered and also felt, he didn't rape me but he would have if not for the bell."

Eric closed his eyes as he sighed in relief. "What happened to your brain?"

Prislla shrugged. "I don't know darling, but I saw myself fooling around with him afterward until you prayed and I got my real self back. He tried to contact me but I refused him and he knew somehow I am free from his prison net, he had kept me all this while." She tapped her chest with her left hand. "I never had any dealings with him afterward—"

"Did he sleep with you? I mean you can't just be kissed and not slept with. Dralex said she caught him kissing you on two occasions and—"

"Oh no, darling—I was manipulated but not stupid to allow him to have sex with me. He wanted to do that in his office but couldn't pull down my underwear before the bell came, so—nothing happened. Afterward, he kept on flirting with other ladies and had no time for me. But I guess if he had had the time, he would have taken advantage of me because I was always weak before him and I don't know why that—" She cut into Eric's words angrily.

"Powers, he was using some strange powers. Power of seduction I think—" Eric whispered.

Eric stared at her for minutes and knew she wasn't lying.
