The moon sat high in the sky and I wondered if the Moon Goddess was watching me. Would she smile favorably on me tonight? Did she enjoy it when we suffered? I was never sure if I was blessed or cursed growing up. I was tired of caring, I wouldn’t let her or anyone else decide how my life would go.
